Dear God, who? Who would pay to talk to these two? I have nothing against them, but what kind of delusion doofus would you have to be to think that would be worth $100 of your hard-earned money? Only one of them is any kind of celebrity by any stretch of the word and we're talking seriously D-list even then.

For trolling, sure - it would be funny. What I want to know is who would genuinely want to pay for this? I'd sooner pay $100 to some cam-whore and at least get some tits.

The really weird thing is the combination of the two. If I wanted to talk to a VA from the show then I didn't want Black Gryphon around.

If I wanted some kind of advice for animation/singing & song writing where he does actually have at least some talent and experience I wouldn't want Creber around, since she is a teenage girl and thus useless for that.

It's a completely nonsensical combination.

>>
>>25634798
BlackGryphon probably realised that no one will care about him if not because of Creber.
>>
>>25634827
I don't mean any offence on the family, but I think most of it is due to Creber's family forcing them together. He even stated now and in previous scams that the mother decided on the money.
>>
>>25634798
>>25634827
It also combines their collective fandom 'starpower'. I agree that, from a logical point of view, it doesn't make sense but fandoms and fans in general are not logical.

>>
>>25634827
>Maybe trying to cover all their grounds?
It's only half an hour. It's not like they need to fill a whole week seminar with stuff.

I think more likely what >>25634832 said is true - Gryphon is clever enough to realize that no one would give a shit about him if it wasn't for him latching onto Creber and Creber, being a teenager, is simply not smart enough to realize what he is doing.

Setting aside the particulars of the issue, let's look at this aspect:
>How dare you offer [thing] at [price I disapprove of] ! I'll now bitch at you until you fix it!

It's like each person just assumes they have the right to dominate other people. Like it's a damn crime to say "Hey, here's [a thing]- do you want it? It costs [this much]" - like it's not everyone's right to just say "No thanks" if they don't want to pay for it.
It's one of the things I hate most about the world today, and it shows up everywhere.
>>
Can you charge people to talk to you?
Yes.

Can people choose to ignore you and your service?
Yes.

Is it OK to charge for what you consider a service?
Yes.

Is it wrong to want to earn money for doing what you enjoy?
Of course not.

Am I jealous/should people be jealous that you are able to do what you love for a living and have a supportive base?
No.

Does it make you a total narcissistic douche bag to latch yourself on to some famous family, then expect people to pay for your autograph and appearance fees because in your mind, you think you've risen beyond the level of simply being a fellow fan, and for some inexplicable reason, this new found status gives you the right to charge people the amount of money requested by healthcare professionals and lawyers so that "fans" can get the worldy expertise of a 25 year old and 15 year old who know how to sing?

>>

>>25635132
According to BG attempting to defend himself on HN they only make $30 each from the transaction, and the remaining $40 is split two further ways. So 'pimping' is very accurate.
>>
Blackgryph0n commented on the HN article.
Knighty is getting involved.

Time to watch the show.
>>
>>25635168
Someone post screencaps please
>>
The inherent problem I see with this is that anyone who is serious and interested about a career in showbiz or singing isn't going to want to talk to a 16 year who has done some voice acting which was arranged by her parents, and some 20-something year old guy who has uploaded a few brony songs to youtube and therefore touting himself as a professional. They're going to want to talk to someone like Michelle's parents, or Tara Strong for example, who have many years of experience and advice to impart.

Likewise, people who would want to talk and chat to Michelle because she's on the show and BG because he's #HorseFamous aren't going to want to pay $100 for that privelege, especially when they could probably go to a con and do that for cheaper in person.
Of course there will be the few starry-eyed or turbo-autists who will take up this offer, but the majority of people can clearly see that this just doesn't seem right (as evidenced by all of the outraged tweets and this thread).

But that's just my opinion.

B-but Anon, it was only put up due to popular demand!

I still crack up every time I remember what happened to his Wikipedia page. If you missed it, Gabe's fans made him one. Some Anons found it and got it removed. The good part was that Gabe's fans complained to Wiki staff who examined the case and then ruled that not only were the Anons correct to remove it, they slapped a notice of "lack of notability" on it which meant that it can never be replaced unless Gabe actually becomes genuinely famous, which will never happen.

I don't think it's a personal army thing, it's a fact. Even before 4chan kids and other freaks like that used not to be so vocal. What the hell happened then?
Even the furries- The furfags managed to expose and throw shame on scammers, tracers, people who commission artists to re-sell their art as portfolios, and so on! They have very developed senses to smell the jew coming that's why.
>>
>>25637319
What the hell happened then?

The internet got infected by normalfags and normalfags love sucking the dicks of other faggots just like them. Just look at the appeal of Facebook, Twitter and Reddit, it's essentially just "Make posts to appeal to people who think the exact same way as you for internet golden stars." Now if you call someone out on their bullshit they have an army of people whose dicks they've figuratively sucked to leap to their defence so that they can earn more internet gold stars.

Yes, I'm a little bitter about it all.

I'm just stating the truth anon.. I do not know what happened at all cons as I simply wasn't there.

However I was at the One in UK I believe this was 2013 and yes this happened..

The fire part that I do not know.. the punctuality most certainly happened..

I never saw the crebers hauling in stuff nor renting.. I do know cons *even for me* have been nice to provide or place a call if something was missing to make sure to make things happen with the unexpected happenings that just happen at cons.

Cons are not perfect but the staff and head try hard.. They wouldn't speak up about it because it hurts them and it's not professional.. but I am not a con head nor a con staff.. I'm a performer..

And thus you got the uncensored truth from me.

Gabe might not know about the delay issue because he was not there are this particular one.. but the creber family most certainly was.

When did the whole "everyone gets to play on the team and everyone gets a trophy" thing start? I remember being on a baseball team as a kid, and coming in close to last place. We got to run laps around the bases for an hour while the top the teams got presented trophies. I wish I could say that we came back and stole the show the following season, but we still sucked. We got more laps while the better teams got more trophies, but it taught us that nothing is free.

Today's generation really is fucking soft.

Same. I used to suck at sport back in school and no one made an effort to make me feel better about it. No trophies and praise like the others got, instead I was being told that my performance was not sufficient.

This isn't the real world, this is a fucking hobbies and interests image board. You and him both have Twitter accounts, so instead of sitting here bitching about how no one is doing anything about shit have you considered actually doing something about it? Oh that's right, they'll just block you for criticizing them but at least you have a safe space like 4chan to vent all your problems and worries because as much as people like you bitch about moderation, site staff sure as fuck don't crack down on off-topic drama mongering as much as they probably should. They enable this ideology deadlock by falling in line with what some faggots in the community have enforced.

Sounds like a moral issue, as I already described, and has no place here.
It's the same deal as people who complain about microtransactions, something that they have literally no obligations to participate in yet feel righteous indignation against simply because it's a thing that exists that less intelligent consumers are falling into.

Similarly, having read further into this thread, this shit about shady business on the part of the Crebers, here's a simple solution: convention runners can opt out of even considering bringing them in. With the evidence as spread by word of mouth, they have been made aware that it might not be in their best interest to even consider having them as VIPs and can make the intelligent and informed business decision. Cons don't get screwed over, and it sets a standard that the Crebers can't take advantage of anymore.
>>
>>25639466
Are you dumb? Like, seriously.

You have to speak out against things like this or else they risk getting out of hand and taking over. You say that microtransactions aren't a problem, and you can opt out, but look at the new Halo game. Microtransactions will buy you incredibly strong powerups at the start of the game which ruins the experience off people who 'opt-out' and choose not to buy such things. Microtransactions have ruined the game.

Additionally, it is incredibly naive to believe that convention organizers can just snub a voice actor and not have that shit have consequences. If a convention turns away the Crebers, they risk the Crebers talking shit about the convention to the other VAs and putting the other VAs off of the convention. No VAs means less people come to the convention, which is terrible since the convention is a business trying to make money off of people atending the convention. It is far better business to just deal with a troublesome VA than risk ruining everything.

Like, seriously. Think about what you are posting man.

That analogy falls apart once you get into more modern games having microtransactions for things that are either necessary to game completion, or actually effect the gameplay thus leading to a objectively disadvantaged player group because of it. It also makes it harder for a company to claim having difficulty in anything art or anything related to the content of the microtransactional content, as they had the time and resources to create such content.

As far as moral issues are concerned, you claim that moral issues have no place here, yet you obviously take moral issue with the postings of patchu and others like him leading to a contradiction. Why crack down on off topic drama at all if morality doesn't exist here? It's not like it can harm a a-moral shitpost zone :^)

Let me amend the thing about microtransactions to it's not an issue until it starts affecting people who opt out. In this case
>Playing vidya for the multiplayer
Literally enabling the death of the singleplayer experience by further popularizing casual online play. Nothing is stopping you from playing with friends online, if that's your incentive, and if said friends are the ones buying shit to be better at games you might as well get new friends.
Otherwise if you know this is a fucking issue feel free not to buy the game.

Additionally
>it is incredibly naive to believe that convention organizers can just snub a voice actor and not have that shit have consequences
Now I'm no expert on how to run a convention, but from what I understand it's the conventions who reach out to the agents of the VIP to work out scheduling them for a visit and not the other way around. Basically it's not like the Crebers are phoning conventions to book themselves, unless they are which would be highly unconventional huehue considering they're supposed to be the talent that conventions are seeking. Will it look weird if all of a sudden conventions stopped trying to contact them? Of course, that's the risk the cons will have to take. But what solutions would you offer? Raiding them? Send them tons of horseporn and pizza? Spam them with angry emails about their business standards? I'm sure that wouldn't cause a backlash against the fandom much faster than simply ignoring them.

And furthermore
>you claim that moral issues have no place here, yet you obviously take moral issue
I'll opt to invoke tu quo quo as my defense, considering I'm arguing from a point of criticism and just telling me I'm acting the same way doesn't address said criticism.
>>
>>25639898
>Literally enabling the death of the singleplayer experience by further popularizing casual online play.

Dude, you just used "stop liking what I don't like" as an argument. You're either an idiot or a troll, but either way the rest of your post is not worth addressing after that gem.
>>
>>25639998
>Literally getting triggered by that opinion
That specific sentence was sarcasm, I admittedly probably should have denoted that with a cheeky smiley. Everything else is the legitimate argument.
>>
>>25640093
Okay, let's move on to your next point to point out how stupid it is too. The rest of that 'argument' doesn't even relate to the point, which was that microtransactions do or don't ruin games (see you're post here >>25639466). Your 'solution' of not playing those games does not address the fact at all that microtransactions ruin games, it only dances around it because obviously you cannot admit that you were wrong. And since you so obviously cannot admit that you were wrong, there is no point in me continuing to reply to you since it will accomplish nothing. So again, I will pass on bothering to read the rest of your post.
>>
>>25640212
Also because I know you're looking for any way to salvage any sense that you're right, I did mess up my "your" in the phrase enclosed by the parenthesis there. It's late. Bite me.

>>
>>25642524
>>25642556
Michelle Creber is secretly a lolita and the entire creber family knows it and encourages it. Michelle Creber had sex with Mando against his will (she raped Mando), Sibsy heard rumors of this and started to white knight for him by dating him. The entire Creber family threatened Mando telling him that they would reveal to the world that he was a pedo for fucking Creber, if he did not stay with her. Sibsy rescued Mando, with her connections she was able to silence the Crebers and eventually sever all connections.

Then PedoGryph0n comes in the picture. He gets invited to the Creber's house and is also raped by Creber. Unfortunately PedoGryph0n doesn't have a dream waifu and grows into loving Creber. PedoGryph0n is offered to stay in the Creber household, as Creber's boy toy, as long as he continue to love Creber and produce music with her. Now that Creber is 16, she is legally allowed to marry PedoGryph0n since she obviously has permission of both her parents to do so. PedoGryp0n will now be Creber's personal fuck toy for life.

Sibsy is laughing her ass off now.
>>
>>25642556

You should take me as Michelles pedobrother instead I'm a pro at it." Then they told Mando to piss off and he cried to Sibsy about it.

This type of people will never learn that until they make the experience themselves. It is for them, because the Creber family wants to play with the big guys - at least the parents.
But neither of them is talented enough for that, so they have to try and hide that behind over-confidence.

Depends what she says but if she tries to take legal action my lawyer is always ready..and I would act through that before I would consider something like that.

But most likely I would ignore it if she goes that route as it really is not worth my time.

I understand where all these "Gabe is a pedo" conspiracies came from, but there's just one thing you're forgetting.

He is autistic. Literally autistic. From my experiences with him, he's a nice guy who tries to do the best for those around him. He doesn't have a single lick of social understanding, and doesn't understand when he should be ashamed of himself, but he can't fucking help that if he literally has a mental disease.

The only way he's fucking Michelle is if their whole family forced and then blackmailed him into it. And I wouldn't put it past momma Creber, she's one of the worst pieces of shit mothers I've ever seen.

Literally pimps out her child just for money. Milks the fandom dry regardless of morality or ethics. It's like she doesn't realise her selfish attitude is going to fuck her daughter over big time when she finally grows up and realises what her mother did to her.

This fucking Skype business is just the straw that broke the camel's back. This is like some J.B. Priestley level of shit she's trying to pull off. Literally using everyone around her, then tries to brush it over by explaining how they still need her around because muh family. I hope she gets the blame for this particularly retarded idea - just because some brownies have more money than sense doesn't give you the right to relieve them of that money. At least if they spend it on plushies or commish'd art, that person actually had to do some fucking work for it, unlike Monique who is soaking up a load of autismbux every time her daughter and adopted son stream an erotic role play.

TL;DR, Monique is a sack of shit, Gabel and Michelle don't deserve all the flak they're getting when they most likely got forced into this.

I don't care if he has autism or not, if you treat your fans like shit, he deserves to be criticized.

I'd like to draw a distinction: yes, he doesn't deserve all the blame, since Monique is the real Shlomo here, but that doesn't mean Gabe's entirely innocent. Look at his comments no the HN article.

>>
>>25645455
Good points and yes I have read several times in the past including mentions even BG himself and from others that he is actually autistic... so there might be truth in that. However it does not excuse the attitude he is putting up.

>>25645496
Exactly..People work really hard to accomodate both their performers and I have seen it (it's laser again). Some of them have experience or have a profession in the area they are supporting conventions from all the conversations I had 1 on 1 whenever I had a question or a change to talk with an individual staff member. Sure there are a few nutjobs there but they are everywhere.. not all of them are... sometimes they also fuck up because you are not cooperating/communicating properly with them.. I truely think it's a very shitty move to brush off everyone as unprofessionally and call your self a professional.
The title of professional you should earn.. not give yourself and convince yourself this is the truth.. the only thing it does is show how arrogant and self centered you are in that aspect.
>>
>>25646763
SilverEagle's post demonstrates quite well that what started as a thread making fun of BG's greedy asking price (threads that had previously been getting deleted, coincidentally) escalated to other horsefamous people getting upset with BG for basically snubbing them, to dealings with the Crebers at conventions (whom specifically Laserpon3 is literally in this thread rallying anonymous support by taking advantage of the drama)
Hell, I'm pretty sure even some of these horsefamous faggots are in this thread spitefully steering the drama along. This is no longer just fun, when there are people using the situation to push an agenda. Then it becomes a personal army.

Fame can be really motivating but it can also cloud your head.
I'm not that much horse fame anymore as I used to be at the time I really was on a roll with making laser stuff nor would I call myself humble as that's up to others to judge. I'm a laser show designer and whatever comes from the work I do or personal projects is apreciated that's that.
What I can say is I had to deal with a situation in the past where one friend of mine got really popular and was present at a convention (don't like to call names) but we were so angry at the attitude he put up towards people (not just me). So me and some of his other friends scrambled up together and really just had the talk that the attitude was not ok. It really helped and the effect was not temporary. It's truely a slap in the face to that person if you do it in person and as fast as you can because doing it later on and on text really doesn't work.
Anyway its still stupid.. the whole issue..it's so easy to solve and avoid on their end but they just can't move away from their pride or mindset and instead keep blaming. I also think it's meh to brush of 4chan. Minus being anon you guys are still people although expressing your honest thoughts without sucking up to anyone with the hopes of getting something out of it.

>they are actually pretty cool guys, like you and me, just a bit less restrained

But as soon as they don't like what is coming out of here they will say that as the "asshole of the Internet", our opinion is worthless anyway.

Kind of funny because I knew one guy who constantly said that 4chan's opinion doesn't matter because it is "populated with idiots", but he still could not stop searching the archive multiple times per day for any mentioning of him. The threads really got to him, too, sometimes he would talk about it for almost an hour when it had been a longer thread, yet in the end he would still disregard everything that had been said.
>>
>>25647468
Well, we have seen many examples of people who do just that, the saying of, "Oh, just ignore those trolls from 4chan, their opinions don't mean anything."
Those kind of people are the very same ones who will make multiple posts on their social media of choice about how much they don't care about the drama, all within the course of a half hour. The reality is, they do care on some level what's being said here.
Like Nash for example. His attitude is like:
>Ha, those 4chan dweebs can't get to me.
>Guys, look at my 5 back to back Tweets of me saying I don't care about the drama between BlackGryph0n and those trolls of 4chan.
>Am I looking like I don't care? No? Better post some more about that topic I don't care about!
>Y-Yeah, that'll show them!
>>
>>25648044
>>25647468
These people have the problem that on sites like 4chan they can't direct their anger to a specific person, because everyone is Anonymous here.

And that's something they can't deal with emotionally, so they sperg out and try to disregard it with 'these trolls'.

Most people can't deal with not being able to clearly address a specific personal.

It's funny, Monique basically controls Michelle's life and makes her a cash cow. Problem is, Michelle has grown up being a cash cow and now thinks that's how she should live her life.

A couple years at a con I was working at, Michelle looked like absolute shit. She was being paraded around by her mother as a trophy practically begging people for money for the mere fact that their eyes laid upon her.

Every moment that Michelle wasn't doing a panel, she was forced to sign autographs for money and talk to sweaty neck beards and appear interested in what they had to say.

Amusingly, the con ran over on one night and we were trying to funnel people out asap so we wouldn't be charged any overtime at the venue, and Monique had an argument with the venue staff because she couldn't sell her daughter out for more autographs.

Fucking pathetic if you ask me.

Now we see this, you can pay money for the privilege to speak with me. I don't even blame her. In fact, I feel sorry for her. She's been raised like this and now this is how she's acting. You reap what you sow.
>>
>>25648288
