Well, that reminded me of a time when I was visiting my grandmother and we went to a remote-controlled airplane convention thing. Place had a mini-tarmac for people to take off and land.
That made me think, mini-plones and drones an Anon could purchase, build, and fly without being in the military and show off to other Anons. Anyways, just a though. Something to incite conversation and brainstorming.

Oh she's very much alive and healthy. I was told she was a body builder when she was younger. She can be pretty eccentric and melodramatic at times. Remember, this is a 60-some odd year old. Also, the vacation in question was this summer, so yeah she's still very alive. I'll most likely be visiting her again next year. at the risk of pissing off the whole thread, what's the big deal with Ace Combat exactly?

I mean I get it's an air combat game that apparently gets a bit anime in some cases but that's really all I understand of it, can someone here help me out with this?

Ace Combat 4 was a pretty straightforward 'modern reimagining' of a WW2 style campaign over a landmass that looked like Europe flipped over (it even had you starting where the UK would have been, eventually doing D-Day in France, etc, it was just backwards and Germany also had a superweapon for some reason)
What made the game unique was while you powered through each Sortie, the story was told from the POV a little orphan boy in an occupied city who had become the sort of adopted son of Yellow 13 and Yellow 4, the top aces in the rival squadron. Every victory brings you closer and closer to ruining his life a second time.
