Look at the boards of this website. Look at all the boards no one ever goes too. When boards like /i/, /ic/, /hr/, /p/, /r/, /t/, /3/, /diy/, /gd/, /n/, or /po/ gets deleted, that is when we should worry if a popular board made to contain ponies from other boards will be deleted.

/pol/ tried the samson option, they really did. You should have seen this board the night they got nuked. For a while there was rarely more than 4 pages. Most attention the mods ever payed this place.

But yeah, if shit hits the fan we can invade /pol/. Not like the mods would stop us.

This is very true, even if we were forced back to /co/, /b/, or /trash/ it would be worse for the quality of posts all around. We haven't even come near to the dry barren wasteland of incredibly specific generals yet, we only have a few of those right now.

Not to mention that /mlp/ has a lot more daily traffic then other boards like the 3d printing board, and the origami board. Even if those are extreme examples I'm fairly sure we still rank in the top 10 blue boards in terms of activity, just look at how many posts we have compared to a lot of other boards
