Being Thankful edition
>Oh look, another text-based CYOA, what's with this one?
Glad you asked.

Welcome to Super Pony, a CYOA taking place in Maretropolis, a city where the forces of good and evil are at a constant struggle.
You play as Easy Ride, also known as Road Rage, and this is your quest to get back at Boomerang for sending you to prison and subsequently ruining your life.

Catch up on this and other CYOAs here:
http://anonpone.pineapplecomputing.com/capeshit

Last Time:
>Did some research on the Nightmare Star
>Did some research on Boomerang’s whereabouts
>Got visited by Storm
>Turns out she wasn’t Storm, but a changeling superhero named Recluse.
>You two are at a standoff right now.

Special thanks to Craft for the art this week

We good to go? We good to go.
>>
>You stand your ground, and she stands hers, the two of you sizing each other up.
“Guess you haven’t learned yet. You play with fire, you get burned.”
>”Have you ever been bitten by a recluse before? Allow me to give you a demonstration.”
>You reach your hoof towards your wrench, which flies through the air and into your hoof.
“No.”
>”What?”
“Get out of here, or I’m burning this building down.”
>Her gaze turns on you, her eyes searching your face.
>”You’d risk killing everyone inside this building just so you could go free?”
“Yes, and don’t give me any of that ‘you’ll stop me before I can’ crap. You know you can’t save every pony before they burn.”
>You narrow your eyes, glaring at the changeling and waiting for a response.
>After a few moments, a low two-toned laugh permeates the room.
>”No, I don’t think you will.”
“Try me.”
>”See, you think you hold all the cards here, but Road Rage, you’ll find that I’m a gambling mare myself.”
“You’d bet the lives of tens of ponies on me not having the guts to do it?”
>”To put it frankly, I’m calling your bluff. This city’s seen its fair share of psychopaths, and I don’t think you’re one of them. You know you’re at a disadvantage in here, you can’t fight me with everything you have without endangering yourself and everypony else in the building.”
>She sneers, taking a step towards you.
>”But the only pony that I might hurt by fighting at my all is you. So, fight me with your hooves and your little wrench, prove to me and the whole world that you’re just another murderer who needs to be stopped at all costs, or you could listen to a little offer of mine.”
>>
>>25547421
Tch
What kind of dumb offer does your chitinous ass think can get me to listen?
>>
>>25547421
Yeah, because people who take offers from changelings always come out on top.
>>
>>25547421
Pretend to listen to her offer about selling your comerades then hit her in the face
>>
>>25547527
Now hold up we don't even know that's what she wants.
>>

>>25547485
>>25547527
>>25547544
>You scoff, rolling your eyes.
“What kind of dumb offer does your chitinous ass think I’d even consider?”
>”Redemption, you little hothead.”
“Yes, because ponies who take offers from changelings always come out on top.”
>”All you’d have to do is hoof over that statue, and turn in your friends.”
“Turn in my friends, are you mad?”
>”Just waltz into your little hideout, keep them all nice and unsuspecting, and I’ll march in with the cops and arrest the whole lot.”
“I knew it, if you think I’m gonna just sell out my friends-“
>”It doesn’t quite end there. I know you’ve been down on your luck, and my comrades and I have been talking. We’d be willing to let you join us, take you under our wings, steer you in the right direction.”
>Her face softens, reaching out a hoof.
>”From a former villain, just take it. All you have to do is the right thing.”
>>
>>25547598
Wait she was a former villain?
>>
>>25547598
The only reason I'm down on my luck is because of cunts like you. I'm not turning in the only ones looking out for me to an overgrown termite.
>>
>>25547598
Why in tartarus would you want me?
>>
>>25547598
Monologue time! But still, stay aware of any attack from her

So you want me betray the only ponies that helped me when I was in the deepest shit?
And you're telling me that's what gonna make me a better person? Fuck off! Each of them has done a hundreed more for me than all of Maretroplis's heroes combined.
And "steering me in the right direction"? Pfah! I've got my own ways, just like you, and
who is even this we you're taliking about, you look a lot like the lone wolf type to me.
You know what? Now I'll give you one last chance. You better take it, we both know your chances to win dramatically dropped the socond you couldn't take me out whle dropping your disguise. I respect my enemies, but I have no mercy for those who use deception and then try to pretend they're on moral higher ground or something. Just get out of here, or I'll make sure you won't be able to chase the meekiest villain for a long, looooong time. Still wanna go, cockroach?
>>
>>25547656
This
We wouldnt be in this direction if it werent for them
>>
>>25547700
>Monologue time!
Y'know the last time that happened it got someone killed.
>>
>>25547713
But I wanna be the cheeky villain...
>>
>>25547709
Yeah, and how would we know they'll even treat us well?

>>25547725
I don't give a shit. I don't want to become a hobo because of a wall of text.
>>
>>25547700

>>
>>25547713

>>

>>
>>25547799

“Former villain?”
>”At one point, yes. Life doesn’t come easy when you’re hard-wired for deception.”
>”Worked as the Don’s favorite little lapdog. Taking down marks, particularly in the business world, is easy when you can become anyone.”
>She shakes her head.
>”It’s a story for another time.”
“But why in the world would you want me?”

>”Truthfully, I don’t know what the head of our little group sees in you, but that cowpony seems to think you’re worth the effort. And if you’re good enough for him, you’re good enough for me.”
>You shake your head, pacing back and forth as you monologue.
“The only reason I’m down on my luck is because of little cunts like you. You want me to betray the ponies who looked out for me when I was in the deepest shit? You think that’s gonna make me a better person? You can fuck right off!”
>You stamp your hoof on the ground, snorting a little jet of flame.
“Each one of them has done more for me than all of Maretropolis’s heroes combined. So if a lying, deceiving cockroach thinks that she’s morally superior just because she’s on the ‘good side,’ then I don’t want any part of it.”
“So I’m giving you one last chance. Leave, or when I’m done with you, you won’t even be able to chase even the wimpiest shoplifter for a long time. So what do you say? Still want to go, insect?”
>A green flame dances over her body as she transforms, a small, brown pegasus filly with a grey mane and tail left in her place.
>She spreads her wings and takes to the air, hovering about a foot off the ground.
>She wears two gloves over her front hooves, glowing green.
>When she speaks, her voice sounds particularly higher, like that of a child.
>”Can’t say I didn’t try. Now by all means, age before beauty.”
>>
>>25547876
I understand, but making more enemies won't get us closer to that. Especially not when those enemies are the type that ignore the law.
>>
>>25547889
I feel honored that such a high up hero is after me so soon.
Though, I'm confused how you got there with your shoddy mimicry.
>>
>>25547889
Seems she's going for small and fast. Lets try to bait her to us. Move towards our saddlebags. She either tries to stop us or lets us get the statue.
>>
>>25547889
Are we near a window? Getting outside might be in our favor
>>
>>25547955
The window is right behind you, but it's a thirty foot drop to the pavement.

Likely survivable, but you have a good chance of getting some quite serious injuries from such a fall.
>>
>>25547955
>falling a few stories might be in our favor
You dumb
>>
>>25547930
>>25547945
“Guess I should feel honored that such a high up hero is after me so soon. How’d you get up there with that half-assed mimicry work?”
>”That was an annoyance particular to you. We’ve been working at finding you since your little train job, but once you stole that statue, you became priority. Didn’t have time to gather the info I needed to mimic Storm successfully.”
>”I hoped that your feelings for her would be stronger than they were. Even a half-done job can be enough to pull the wool over everypony’s eyes, as certain princesses can attest to.”
>She puts a hoof to her forehead.
>“Why am I telling you this? Celestia, I need to stop this monologuing business.”
>While she’s distracted, you launch yourself towards your gear.
>As you make a dash for the end of the room, she seems to notice, pointing one of her gloves ahead of you.
>A ball of green slime flies towards you, impacting on the ground in front of you and spreading a green puddle across your carpet.
>You react in plenty of time, throwing yourself into the air above the puddle.
>Your hooves meet carpet on the other side of the puddle, but a glance back to Recluse shows the changeling quickly closing on you, her wings now folding in.
>The bag is mere feet in front of you, and most of your momentum still pushes you forward from the jump.
>>
>>25548198
Twist that body and blast her.

"Didn't think such a small job would attract big attention."
>>
>>25548198
Grab it, roll behind cover and throw the wrench at her.
>>
>>25548216
>>25548221
>You’re torn between twisting your body and blasting her or just continuing your advance.
>Making a decision quickly, you tuck your forelegs to your chest, and roll forward, picking up your saddlebags as you do so.
>Recluse flies over you as you roll, her hoof merely nicking your flank.
>She extends her wings, flapping them hard forward to bring her to a hault.
>Meanwhile, your roll takes you into the kitchen, and you get back onto your hooves and take cover behind an island.
>You plop your saddlebags onto your back and toss your wrench in the direction of the super.
>Annoyingly, she tucks in one wing, rolling to the side to dodge the wrench.
>Her roll complete, she flaps out both wings, completely unscathed as the wrench continues on, embedding itself in the wall with a dull thunk.
>She points her slime cannon in your direction and you duck behind cover once again.
“So, didn’t think a small job like that would attract a lot of attention.”
>”It’s not so much what you do, it’s who you do it to. Networking, look it up.”
>>
>>25548377
Can the wench safely come back at us?
Try to use the place at your adventage, isn't there someting you make fall on her in a not too obvious manner?
>>
>>25548377
Throw the damn cutlery at her.
>>
>>25548482
>>25548522
>You take a brief look around the kitchen.
>Plenty of cabinets rest above your head, filled with pots, pans, and plates.
>Though, there’s not much you could safely drop on her head, especially since you’re not a unicorn.
>Right on top of the island, a knifeblock carries about ten kitchen blades, which adequately cut fruits and vegetables.
>A little bit of drywall certainly isn’t going to stop your wrench from coming back to you.
>You grab the knifeblock and remove the knives.
>Turning the corner, you start throwing.
>Her first instinct is to shoot at you, but a hoof full of sharp objects flying at your face tends to be good motivation to avoid.
>Still, as you throw, she ducks left and right, weaving through the knives as they fly past her.
>You’re no expert at throwing knives, but a couple actually make contact as she tries to avoid, but they’re glancing blows, bouncing off of her exoskeleton as they twirl in the air.
>She gets closer, but your onslaught continues.
>Soon, one finds its mark, flying right through her outstretched wing.
>The knife leaves a gaping hole through the brown wing, and you can only imagine the state the appendage would be in, were her disguise off.
>Somehow, she recovers well, a green flash running over her body as she touches to the ground.
>Her small filly body grows four times in size, a masculine brown earth pony barreling towards you.
>As you rear back to throw another knife, Recluse brings a hoof up, slamming it into you.
>The hoof throws you backwards into the fridge, your withers popping as your back makes contact with the metal appliance.
>When you come to, you find yourself seated on your rump against the fridge, the earth pony stallion levelling his hoof at you.
>>
>>25548722

>>
>>25548722

>>
>>25548722

>>25548722
Time to get that wrench back. A little zap should work through any disguise.
>>
>>25548769
>>25548780
>>25548840
“Looks like you’ve got me, huh? Guess you were just a cut above the rest.”
>You proceed to clap your hooves together.
>”What in the world are you-“
>He finds himself cut off as a wrench smacks him in the back of his head.
>The weight of the wrench shoots his head forward, his pupils dilating as he gasps from the shock.
>The goop cannon fires, but you’re way ahead of it, and the shot goes high into your freezer anyway.
>You duck and roll, getting to your hooves and catching the wrench as it lands in your hoof.
>Recluse begins to recover from the shock, his pupils narrowing as he sees your quick advance.
>How to follow up, though?
>>
>>25548916
Slam it right into the side of his head
That should take him out

>And you bring your hooves down, swinging with all your might.
>Right into Recluse’s stupid face.
>The stallion’s eyes cross, staring right at the metal object now headed right for his forehead.
>The wrench makes contact with his head with a crack, and you follow through, pulling the wrench to the side.
>Recluse just stands there unmoving, the stallion’s mouth agape.
>You trot over to his side and give him a little tap with your hoof.
>He falls over, toppling like a bag of rocks.
>As Recluse falls, the disguise falters, the large stallion’s limbs again returning to the hole-riddled black changeling limbs.
>Her left wing looks absolutely destroyed, a large gaping hole pierced right through the center.
>Her back leg twitches involuntarily every few moments.
>Eyes still wide, it appears that by some miracle, she’s still conscious.
“Get dunked on.”
>”F-fuck you.”

“So, are you still offering from earlier, or…?”
>”That deal’s off, you bitch.”
“Hey, don’t be mad at me, I just tend to get a little heated sometimes.”
>You turn away, laughing to yourself.
>Still, might as well leave some oats out for her, she looks like she’s going to be here for a while.
>Looking over to her, she struggles to get her hooves beneath her, only to falter, her legs giving out.
>She seems to be trying to cast magic as well. Her horn glowing green momentarily, before sparks erupt from the tip, harmlessly floating to the ground.
>You get a bowl of oats together when an idea hits you.
>Opening the top shelf, you grab a pan and turn to your freezer.
>You attempt to scoop a little bit of the goop off and stick it onto a pan.
>Much like a piece of gum, it sticks to your fur and annoyingly doesn’t come off.
>Applying a little bit of heat, you melt the goo, which pools onto the pan.
>That should do.
>You sneak up behind the distracted changeling and stick the pan onto her head, causing her to turn and leer at you.
“Oh come on, losing shouldn’t be that panful to you. Guess you just couldn’t handle my skill-ets, now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta fry.”
>You continue your tyrade of laughter, dropping the bowl of oats in front of her and heading out the door.
>Your ears perk as you hear a voice behind you.
>Swiveling your head, Recluse tries to snap at the bowl of oats, extending her neck as far as she can.
>”You, uh, wouldn’t mind pushing these a little closer, would you?”
>>

“You’re welcome, by the way.”
>”Well, I guess I was right about you.”
“About what? Me not being heartless?”
>”About you being a moron.”
>From her prone position on the ground, she lifts her front hoof, pointing it right at you.
>The cannon goes off, and ball of green slime smacks you right in the chest, knocking you onto your rear as it spreads over your yellow coat.
>You try to turn and run, but another ball smacks you on the side, sending you onto the ground, where you stick.
>Recluse laughs maniacally as she fires round after round of the changeling slime at you, which feels cold and sticky against your coat.
>You try to get up, but much like Tinker’s cocoon from earlier, you’re stuck fast, barely able to move your legs.

>Eventually, enough melts for you to get your head free.
>You crane your neck and see the changeling lying on the ground, her hoof still pointed at you.
>”You know, changelings can feed off of other emotions besides love. Know what you taste like right now?”
>She licks her lips, running her tongue over her fangs.
>”Salt. And let me tell you, you’re absolutely delectable.”
>If looks could kill, she’d be dead.
>Certainly the last time you ever give a hero the benefit of the doubt.
>”Don’t give me that look. Soon as my legs start working again, you’re going to be a hero. Hold on.”
>She squeezes her eyes shut and grits her teeth, a green flame crawling over her body.
>Her black coat turns a yellow-brown, her destroyed wings disappear.
>her mane and tail turn a bright green color, swept back behind her.
>Even a leather jacket appears, covering her front half.
>Once she’s done, another Easy Ride lies on the ground feet from you.
>”Got this energy from you, so thanks for that. You’re turning your friends in, and if you know what’s good for you, you’ll stop your little escape plan right now.”
>She accentuates her words with another blast from her hoofcannon, adding another layer to your bonds.
>Part of you wants to eat the gem right now, but it’s in your saddlebag and your hooves are restrained, you can’t reach it.
>Right now, you’re slowly melting the slime, but it’s not going to get you out with her playing overwatch.
>You could certainly give it more flame to get free, but then you’d run the risk of setting the building on fire.
>Or perhaps that’s just what this arrogant insect deserves?

No. It's not self defense and we're starting the fire. It would be entirely on us.

This isn't about being a villain, because we aren't. If we were a villain, we wouldn't have helped that mare getting robbed. If we were a villain, we would've fought that bubble hero and won. It's obvious we aren't someone who would shed blood for our own self-interest, so why start now?

Burn the sticky stuff away without setting the apartment ablaze.
>>
>>25557275

>No. It's not self defense and we're starting the fire. It would be entirely on us.
Pic extremely related. This is the Changeling heroes mindest right now. Even if we set the place ablaze she had a hand in making the tragedy happen

We said we would do it so I say we do it

>>25557288
We rob, we beat up people, we break the law. Just because we also have a soft spot doesn't mean we're not a villain. Furthermore, this is more about survival than anything.

We may not burn down a building for fun or money, but pure survival? I can see us doing that
>>
>>25557288
I agree with this guy.
Can we at least try to limit ourselves?
>>
>>25557355
In a pinch like we are and the limited mastery of our power, its going to be hard
>>
>>25557344
Your pic is entirely wrong. The man is the one pushing his luck, and he's the one who gets hurt.
Your talking about hurting a whole bunch of people who have done nothing to deserve it.
>>
>>25557311
That doesn't make sense though. No one was thinking about hero attention when we declined soapy's fight. We only though "We don't want to kill her." So, while it did help us personally, why did we justify our actions in such a way>

Holy shit it took a horse for us to debate ethics
>>
What if... We let her do it?

If she leaves, and we hang low for a while /after/ she impersonates us, is there a chance that we could, after a while, break our friends out?

It's not a good option, nor a preferable option, but it's one that just came to me. Maybe we could..?
>>
>>25557344
Survival? She's a hero, she wouldn't kill us.
r-right?
>>
>>25557376
Not taking that kind of submissive attitude toward the shit thrown at us is the very reason we bacame a villain
>>
It seems as though most people are in favor of going all-out, but it's tough to gauge consensus right now.

Would you be alright with me accepting the results of the strawpoll?
>>
>>25557369
Thinking of it now, it would have garnered more attention from heroes just fighting her, and killing her certainly would have.

>And Ice… She can never live like a normal pony again, because of what she did.
>And maybe she’s bluffing, doesn’t really know where your friends are.
>But this little cockroach…
>She deserves to burn.
>Something inside you clicks, something primal. A need to be free. Survive, escape, that’s all you need to do.
>You let your flames free, their destructive nature churning about your prone form, melting the green syrup around you into a puddle.
>You try to reign it in once you’re free, but you fail, the searing ball of flame around your being expanding through the apartment, setting carpet, wood, and ceiling aflame.
>The rest of the slime melts off of your coat, pooling onto the ground, and you easily stand, turning to face the super.
“You know, I’ve been thinking about what you said. About being a gambling mare?”
>She fires another ball at your chest, which hisses, dripping harmlessly off your coat.
“You keep pushing your luck, and eventually you lose.”
>She tries to scuttle away, but her legs fail her, only taking her a small distance away from you.
“Just know that you brought this on yourself.”
>She looks up into your eyes, forcing you to look yourself in the face, your own green eyes staring into you, burning with their own malice.
(cont.)
>>
>You rear back, a churning fireball in your hoof.
>”I’m just the beginning. Someone will stop you. I promise you that.”
“Can it, you pest.”
>You bring your hoof forward, a jet of flame erupting from it, encasing your doppleganger in a sea of green flames.
>As the flames wash over her, she closes her eyes, accepting her fate.
>Her body’s hidden, but the smell of burning flesh fills your nostrils, and you hear a popping noise.
>Still, you don’t let up, your eyes narrowed, filled with rage and hatred.
>Time fades, as does anything but you and the changeling.
>Soon, you let up, exhausted.
>A blackened husk lies sideways on the ground, her eyes closed.
>The walls and floor burn with green flame, smoke now permeating the room, filling your nose with an acrid scent.
>But still, it doesn’t burn or harm you, you find that your breathing is unimpeded.
>The lights have turned off, and the fire alarm blares faintly in the hallway.
>You grab your saddlebag and run to the doorway, casting a final glance at the room.
>The remnants of your past life all burn, forever lost to a green inferno. Everything this apartment had, all it meant to you, all gone.
>You shut the door and look into the hall.
>The building seems to still be steady, but that’s not likely to last.
>Sprinklers rain over your coat, hissing as they contact your mane and tail.
>A few ponies try to escape through the apartment halls, hacking and coughing as they run.

>It takes a gargantuan effort, adrenaline pumping through your veins preventing you from pushing aside what you just did.
>Someone else’s life, taken in just a few moments by your hooves.
>Still, after moments of breathing, you get your flames back under control.
>Your mane and tail fall to your shoulders, and you gallop ahead, now joining a mess of ponies retreating from the blaze.
>Your blaze.
>You try to help a coughing stallion with burns on his foreleg, letting his weight rest against yours as the two of you rush down the stairs.
>But your mind is lost in a fog, looking far into the distance as your legs carry you of their own volition.
>As soon as the two of you are clear of the building, you let him go, running to your bike.
>You slam your helmet onto your head, throw the ignition, and pull out onto the night, running far, far away from here.
>You don’t recall the ride over to the hideout, but you soon find yourself throwing open the door to the hideout, galloping to the back.
>Several eyes watch you as you gallop through the store, but Draft quickly assures them it’s nothing to worry about.
>The door flies open as you shove your wrench into the slot, and you slam it behind you.
>You throw your helmet off your head, and it clatters to the concrete floor of the garage.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!”
>You shout, breathing hard.
You fall to your haunches and cradle your head in your hooves.
>All four of your friends happen to be in the living area, and they immediately stop what they’re doing to rush over to you.
>They all look upon you with concern, their eyes searching your face.

“I think I’m going to be sick…”

Are you folks familiar with the concept of irony? I'm jumping into this CYOA fairly recently, but holy shit what a point to join on. You guys realize that Two-Bit's pragmatic enough to understand he's going to have "murdered-a-super" level heat on his ass for life if he supports us, right? Getting pissy may well have cost us our friends anyway.

Kinda feel like now would be a good time to go on the offensive. The villains of this world have been forced to stick to together and use teamwork in order to survive against the pressure of both the supers and the police. What Easy did in torching Recluse was send out a signal. Recluse went after her, attacked her at home, without any personal provocation. In my eyes and the eyes of many villains her murder was justified. We know that the whole world now knows who Easy is and any chance of living a normal life with the super stuff on the side has been destroyed. Let's take the fight to the supers, that's what they've always done to us.

Starting an all out war against the supers will provide the type of climate we need to sustain more growth. Remember how the 9/11 attacks actually motivated many people to become terrorists and terrorism spread throughout the Middle East and Europe like a fire. Easy has started a fire. And the fire rises
>>

>>
>>25575719
Y'know, I don't agree with you for what we should do, but this is what Easy has consigned herself to, more or less. If nothing else, I'd say we should split from Two-bit and his group after tonight, go loner for a while if only so that if we ever do meet back up with them, it looks like we did this independent of them, since we did.
>>
If we are going to distance ourselves from our friends, then Maybe we should consider forming working relationships with the other really heavy supervillains who go around doing shit like killing people.

I doubt they'll be pleasant, but it's something.
>>
>>25581717
I doubt it's easy to find the killer villains, let alone talk to them.
>>
>>25581717
Any killer villain that's active would be leagues above us and impossible to find. Psychos get slammed in this city.
>>
So, about Easy's backstory. What's the deal with her parents? I was thinking a 'never knew her mom, dad was in jail and killed in a gang fight' kinda idea. It's just been Easy on her own for years and years.

This guy has a point thogh
Last night, our hopes to ever have a normal life again went to ashes along with Recluse since from now on, supers ad authorities will never cease to chase us. Easy Ride effectively died at that moment, only Road rage remains

Therefore, we need a new goal, and to think about what we're going to do to reach it, because we might just end up running around like a headless chiken.

There's three main pathes I see:

First, surrendering ourselves to the authorities. Preferably a hero. Were we really lucky, we could find a super that would be willing to let us atone our sins as a super. Recluse took that path, and I think it's very possible she's killed in her time. But still, just ending in prison for the rest of our life is the most likely scenario.

Second, strifing for survival and hoping to find an exit way. Basicaly, staying low and attempting to acquire enough cash to buy anonimity by getting really, really far away under a new name. Relies a lot on luck.

Third, dominating the whole town. Making sure you have enough power, by yourself or with an organisation, to be out of reach of any super of villain. However, should we ever be at the top, which would be incredibly long and difficult, there wight always be a hero or an ambitions underling that will try to take us down.

Forth, become a hero despite your current record. It's gonna be long and hard to ever make it work and we'll probably lose our current friends. Save people until at least some supers can accept you in their ranks and acquire a semblance of peace.

Regardless, first we should train to fully control our powers, at least enough to have the precision to hit the right targets and the best of the best would be to be able to take out flammes. Discplines and control are the key words here. One way to do that might be to use the statuette, the dark magic feeds on other magic, so it might be able to absorb fire. That makes sense, right...?
>>
>>25582851
I won't speculate on what path to take yet, though I do lean towards dominating the town, but I agree with training the fire powers, at the very least.
>>
>>25582851
We'd likely lose our friends for either of the last two. They're not going to support us killing off supers.
>>
>>25582993
Then again, Tinker and Storm don't seem to have much of a record in the super area. I wonder how hard it would be to stay friends and just sort of avoid each other during "work hours". Or I suppose we could try to convince them to switch too.
>>
>>25582851
>There's three main pathes I see
>lists four

Anyway, the problem with your first one and being "really lucky" isn't going to happen because the only time we've been offered a spot as a super was BEFORE turning one of them into a fucking thanksgiving roast.

Also I agree with the powers. After our botched fireballs in the chase my first thought was "we need somewhere we can train so we don't miss all the time".
>>
>>25583212
>>25582851
one and four are basically the same, one just doesn't involve turning yourself in.
>>
>>25583248
Well, one is trying to work with someone and the other is working alone.
>>

>>
>>25584107

I propose some combination of options 2+3
Let's just try to find our own way and obtain as much power as possible to the point where people won't be constantly gunning for us.
A super wants to come fuck us over? We fight back, and HARD! We live the rest of our life on the run and fight tooth and nail every day for our survival! We get thrown in jail? Let's try and bust out! Someone tries to kill us? We kill them first!

We either become the biggest badass who ever lived or we go out in a blaze of glory and take as many motherfuckers with us!

>"Give up, murderer, it's over."
“I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for it to go this way, I just-“
>You choke, Boomerang pressing down on your throat and cutting you off.
>”It’s too late for that, Easy Ride.”
>You look to your friends, pleading for help, but they simply shake their heads in disappointment and turn away, leaving you and the super.
>Boomerang removes her hoof and reaches behind her, pulling a strait jacket from her bags.
>You try to back away, but the jacket catches you, wrapping around your body like a snake, binding your forelegs around your torso.

“I just have to know.”
>Two-bit shakes his head and puts the remote down, returning his attention to the television.
>You plop down on the couch, watching the broadcast between the standing ponies.
>”Our top story this morning, one of the city’s top superheroes found dead, Scoop has the details.”
>The camera cuts to an earth pony mare with a light blue coat and combed yellow mane standing in front of what was your apartment building.
>The once ten-story high building now looks to be less than one story high, the purple front cracked and blackened with soot.
>Rubble spills out from the sides and into the nearby alleys and streets, and firetrucks fill the scene.
>”Thanks, Rusty Anchor. Authorities say that around nine-o-clock last night, a fight took place between the renowned and reformed superhero, Recluse, and relatively new villain, Road Rage, which ended in a fire, leading to the destruction of the building.”
>”The fight happened in a third floor apartment, and ended in the death of the superhero, along with twelve other civilians, particularly those trapped on the upper levels. Twenty-three others were severely injured, with four still in critical condition.”
>The camera cuts to footage of your landlord, a microphone pressed to her face.
>”Yeah, so this superhero walks into my lobby and asks if I knew a pony, green mane, yellow coat, flaming tire cutie mark, so I said yeah, sounds a lot like Easy Ride. Told her which apartment she lives in, and turns out, good for nothin’ jailbird burns my whole building down, the witch.”
(cont.)
>>

>”As I was escaping, I got a real bad burn on my leg, made it hard to run, and Easy helped me out the whole way, but before I could thank her, she gets on her bike and shoots off like a rocket. Never would have guessed she was the one to start it.”
>The camera transitions to a picture of your mugshot, showing your face, coat, and cutie mark.
>“As of now, the police have issued a 50,000 bit reward for any information leading to Easy Ride’s arrest, but to consider this mare extremely dangerous, and to exercise caution if she’s seen in public. Back to you, Anchor.”

It would also be a good opportunity to decide our next course of action once for all in the silence of the desert

We also have the statuette to step up our game, which is probably going to become necessay considering our situation
We'll problybe driven in a pinch where it's gonna be our last hope, so we should experiment with it beforehand and then decide to keep it or throw it away

“I don’t know.”
>Storm walks over, sitting down next to you.
“I just can’t turn myself in. Thirteen dead? They’ll kill me.”
>You hold your head in your hooves, tears again beginning to well up.
>Storm runs a hoof along your back.
>”No, they won’t kill you. Equestrian law focuses on rehabilitation.”
“They won’t just let me go.”
>Ice turns to you, shaking her head.
>”No, they won’t. But they won’t hurt you, as long as you come quietly. But yes, you’ll spend your whole life in the asylum, probably.”
“Who’s going to come for me?”
>”Everything this city has. Not just Boomerang, no. The Power Ponies themselves will have your number now.”
>You gulp, swallowing the lump in your throat.
“Either way, we’re not going to do anything. I have to go it alone from here.”
>Two-bit turns to you, his head hanging.
>”Easy…”
“Ice is right. I’m toxic to you, they’ll come looking for me, and they’ll drag you down with me.”
>”They’ll hunt you down, Easy.”
“I know, but it’s not fair to take you down too. But I will need some things. Contacts who’ll provide me with what I need, a place to live, food, a place to practice and get better, and orbs if you can manage.”
>Storm rests her hoof on your withers.
>”Easy, only if you’re really sure. We can make it work… This is my fault, getting you that statue thing. That’s why they came after you.”
>>
>>25587661
The sad thing is I might not ever be able to use it.
>>
>>25587661
I wonder what I should even do with that thing. Using it could probably help me a lot... or it might just make things worse...
What do you guys think?

>”I’m trying, I just don’t know how! We can keep you here, I guess, just hide you forever.”
>Ice shakes her head. “Then it would just be a matter of her choosing her own prison. Stay here or the asylum, pick your poison.”
“What about that statue? The book said it was dark magic, but it could give me a shot at surviving. It could make things a whole lot better or a whole lot worse.”
>Two-bit shakes his head this time. “Recluse died trying to get that statue back, maybe it wouldn’t be the best idea.”
>Ice nods in concurrence, “While we can’t assume that was the only reason Recluse went to Easy’s apartment, it’s a valid point. If it’s dark magic, it’s malicious, evil, and corrupting. It would make things a whole lot worse.”
>Storm shrugs, “Honestly, I have no idea what the thing even is, but it might keep you kicking if you used it.”
"Maybe keeping it's not really the best idea..."
>You dig into your bag and extract the statue, turning it over in your hooves.
>The red gem seems to burn with more ferver than before, pulses of flame pressing at the orb surrounding the crystal, moving towards your hooves when they near.

>Plus, you’ve been pretty much told by everyone that using this thing is a terrible idea.
>On the other hoof, it still might give you the boost you really need to not get brutally taken down.
“How would I even go about ditching this thing anyway?”
>”If you were to leave, drop it with us and I could do it,” Storm says, “take it right back to the police station and put it in the mail slot, gets right back into safe hooves.”
>”It’s risky, might get you arrested,” Ice says, “but it would kill a lot of the possible heat on Storm.”
“The book said some cultist basically poured his soul into this thing, some guy who wanted to see the country burn in eternal daylight. I could use it to protect you guys instead of you protecting me.”
>”All the more reason not to use it. No offense, but you’re not that strong,” Ice explains, sitting down.
“I could be.”

>Ice spins, walking over to the kitchen and returning with a match and a napkin.
>”Do you even know how fire works, Easy?”
“Of course I do,”
>”Then you’ll know how dangerous one spark can be.”
>She strikes the match and holds it to the napkin.
>”Just a little flame, doesn’t take a whole lot of energy to make, can turn into a raging fire.”
>The napkin catches, and soon the fire overtakes it, burning it in her magical grasp.
>”You’re a bit more than a spark. Think bonfire. You have power, and because that power is so destructive, it looks like you’re a lot stronger than you are.”
>She’s practically shouting now as she drops the smoldering napkin to the concrete floor.
>”That thing,” she says, pointing to the statue, “Is like the sun. Don’t tell me you’re so arrogant you would compare your strength to Celestia herself.”

I mean, the correct response is to take the orb with us to keep it safe, but never use it. Given the propensity for anons in this thread to make bad decisions, the smart thing would be to give it to one of our friends we can trust There really isn't one, but I digress, and hightail it out of town.

The most interesting thing to do is to eat the power orb and see who the thread rolls up as a new hero to play as, so we can take down Pile-Up, the ultimate form of Road Rage after she's gone mad with power.

“Yeah…”

“The desert sounds best to me. Nice, out of the way, good place to practice fire spells without anypony getting hurt.”
>”I think I could do that, I think there’s a little cave up for rent out there about forty miles out of town. Not exactly prime real-estate, because of the location, but that’s probably in your favor.”
“You could get me basic living stuff, food, water, right?”
>”Getting your own food and water will be tough, but I think we could do a monthly delivery out there, at a cost of course. It’ll be big, off the books, filled with instant noodles and canned food, and fare more expensive than normal, but it should work fine.”
“Mechanical stuff?”
>”Not too tough, we have stuff to spare over here, you could take it with you on the ride out.”
“What about orbs?”

“Some way to get news?”
>”Crank radio. Not the best, but it’ll do for a budget.”
“How am I going to get out there?”
>”We’ll pull a moving van up to the garage door, get you, your motorbike, and basic supplies onboard, and no one will even know you were here.”
“How long could I stay out there?”
>”You have what, little less than five thousand bits? I think you could get three months out there. Only one, if you want one of those orbs back from Boomerang.”
“Only three months?”
>”It’s off the books, open to anybody, it’s honestly a steal for that.”
“Could you make it longer?”
>”Not without more money. It would be terribly risky, but you could of course rob trains. But with no way to refill on gas, you being wanted for murder and all, and no way of figuring out which train’s carrying what, it probably wouldn’t work out great for you."

Let's get real, even with all the training in the world, we would hardly come close to even one of the power ponies

Matterhorn has the same type of power than us, but from the opposite element and is probably way better at it than us
Saddle ragger is the Hulk. We simply don't have the raw power to get on her level and no way to prevent her from raging except maybe for that watch. Running away is the only option against her
Miss Marevellous it a powered up Boomerang, we already have trouble against her
Filly Second's power is yet to be measured, it could range from very powerfull to completelly broken depending on how PZ interprets it. But in all cases there's absolutely no running away from her, even on bike
Radience is the same as Filly Second, her power has so much possibilities it's hard to even imagine what a fight against her will look like, but it'll probably end in a loss
Zap also has an elemental power, at least as strong as us and that's being optimistic. Plus she flies and our chances of running away from her are nearly as slim as for Filly Second

That's for each of them individually, a mere 2 pony combo like Saddle Rager/ Filly Second already means a 100% defeat chance to me, no matter how good we get with our current abilities
Get that statuette back or turn yourself in, anything else is delaying the obvious outcome
>>
>>25594166
The statue's already going back.
As for the the training, I'd like to think it's more about self control and reflection than fighting ability. This all happened because we weren't in control.
We must master ourselves, before we can master our destiny young grasshopper

>>
>>25599605
I'm okay with Easy not having it on her, but I don't want it turned in to the police.
>>
>>25599605
A poll is easily rigged, and demanding a redo on any decision made that you don't like isn't feasible. Getting it back at this point requires working against our friends anyway. I really don't see why you think sitting in the dessert alone with a corrupting artifact is a good idea.
>>
>>25599756
We could say we changed our mind, he haven't moved out already
Like I said in>>25594166 I think we NEED, as in, if we don't the next battle is gonna be the last, to step up our game. And I'm on TRYING the statuette so we can be sure of what it does to us. And what beter time than an insightfull travel to the desert to do this ?
>>
>>25599832
>we could say we changed our mind
So? They all think it's dangerous and we made the right choice. The way they talked about about it I'm certain they'd rather see us in an asylum than possessed.
And you can't just try it any more than you could just try the Alicorn Amulet. It's dark magic. Once it's claws are in they don't come out.

Dark magic spells are powerful, drawing power directly from the pony's negative emotions, but can also mold a pony's mind, increasing its own strength by amplifying feelings of hatred, anger, and malice.

With absolute care and a calm environement, we sould be alright. Like I said I want to try it, and be able to toss it away with no regrets

>The two of you hop off the couch, your hooves clopping as they contact the floor.
>Two-bit bids you farewell, and heads out the front door of the garage, leaving you alone.
>With a few moments to think, you briefly consider finding Storm right now and asking her to get you your statue back.
>You’d never stand a chance against the power ponies, any one of them alone could take you down.
>Except Hum Drum, you’d be fine against him.
>However, you shudder when you think of the dark magic held in the statue, what it might do to you.
>No, you don’t want to take the risk.
>Everypony seems to support your choice, and you’d rather not go against your friends to get it back anyway.
>For now, you walk over to the kitchen, looking for a conversation alone with Ice.
>She stands near the sink, a cup of water held in a sparkling white cloud of magic.
>”Hey, Easy, I didn’t mean to snap at you like that.”
“If it makes you feel any better, I’m not keeping the statue.”
>She nods, “It’s for the best. It would only lead to more pain for you and everyone in this city.”
>She takes a sip of her drink, idly swirling the icecubes around with her magic.
>”So, was that all, or-"
"I actually wanted to talk to you about something."
>"Well go ahead, what would you like to talk about?"
>>
>>25601504
I want to talk about what happened. I know you probably hate me, or just want to rub it in my face, but I just want to talk.
I didn't want it to happen.
>>
>>25601504
I guess it's stupid, but I kinda thought you might understand? Better than the others I mean. How did you deal with it? Do you have a long term plan?
>>
>>25601557
>>25601595
“I just want to talk about what happened, that’s all.”
>You hang your head, looking down at your hooves.
“I know you probably hate me, want to shove it in my face, or whatever, but I figured you would understand, better than everyone else at least.”
>You plop down on your flank as she looks at you, searching your eyes.
“I didn’t want it to happen.”
>She sighs, taking a seat in front of you.
>”I know, none of us did.”
“But how do you deal with it?”
>”The short of it is that you don’t. You never let it go, the regret, the sadness, but that’s what makes us people. The second you forget that it was a real pony with real aspirations, goals, dreams, all crushed, you stop being a pony yourself.”
>”I should at least tell you what happened. It was a few years back, Two-bit and I were doing a bank robbery, and our plans usually involved civilians. Never really harm them, just freeze them in place and use them as hostages.”
>”The police pushed us, along with a pony with fire powers, starting storming the bank and thawing our hostages while Two-bit drilled the safe, and I panicked.”
>The unicorn sets her drink down on the table, looking down.
>”So I grabbed the nearest pony right out of the air as she tried to get away, a pegasus mare with the most gorgeous rose-colored eyes I’ve ever seen. I pointed my horn right at her and yelled at the police to stop. But they didn’t, they just kept coming.”
(cont.)
>>
>>25601987
>”I killed her, drove an icicle right through her while she gasped, helpless, the light draining from those beautiful eyes as she stared right at me. But it didn’t stop there. The unicorn police officers opened up, and I started shooting icicles back. I killed three more of them. We didn’t finish the job, we just ran, magic bolts flying past our heads.”
>”I was young, stupid, and only saw one way out.”
“But what do you do? What’s your long term plan?”
>”Not much. I’m still wanted, and I’m afraid to ever leave this place. I could probably turn hero and try to make up for it, but I’d still have supers and cops after me until they’re convinced I’ve changed, and I’d be turning my back on Two-bit. It just doesn’t feel right.”
>She shakes her head, reclaiming her drink. ”I think that’s about enough for now. What happened? What made you want to kill?”
>>
>>25602005
I was just being a fuckheaded cocky asshole. I managed to knock Recluse down and set out a bowl of oats to taunt her.She wanted them closer and I did it.
She nailed me to the floor with that slime and fucking transformed into me. I lost control and couldn't bring down my fires.
>>
>>25602005
I refuse to go to jail. I need to be free. All I could think about was surviving and escaping. She brought it on herself anyway, I warned her what would happen.
>>
>>25602005
I just got really angry and... I guess a bit scared. I was so pissed off that Recluse tricked me, and I was terrified about going back to jail.

I just really REALLY don't like super heroes and Recluse ticked me off in the worse way, and the very last thing I ever want to happen to me is lose my freedom again.
>>
>>25602005
Basically hatred and anger
Recluse used the dirtiest tactics. She pleaded for mercy as a trick and I fell for it, then she got me stuck and flaunted about how she was going to take my appearence and get you guys as well. I just couldn't stand how full of herself she was.
Strangely, she thought I wasn't going to use my flames because I was moral enough. I guess I proved her wrong, but that anything but a victory...
>>
>>25602005
Honestly? I made a fool of myself and lost my temper. But beyond that I think it was the lack of respect more anything. She came to me with an offer, but she couldn't just give me it. She had to come to me wearing the face of my friend and try to attack me first. That kind of attitude is why I became a villain. I was tired of supers who just push their shit on everyone and get praised for it. Seems pretty stupid now though.

“I think it was lack of respect, more than anything. She came to me with an offer, but came in wearing Storm as a disguise, and tried to attack me before giving it to me.”
>”What kind of offer?”
“To betray you all, turn you all in and switch over to being a hero.”
“I was a cocky little asshole, that’s what. I knocked Recluse down to the ground and set down a bowl of oats to taunt her.”
>Ice nods, listening intently.
“She asked me to bring the oats closer, pleaded for mercy as a trick, and I fell for it. Pinned me to the ground and thought that I wasn’t going to use my flames in my apartment.'
>You shake your head, snorting in anger as images from last night flash through your head.
“She turned into me and taunted me, saying how I was going to turn you all in, no matter what. She ticked me off in the worst way. Everything I hate about supers, I found in her.”
>Once again, tears begin to well up, but Ice makes no move towards you, her statuesque form unmoving as she reads you.
“I panicked, lost my temper, lost control of my fire, and I killed her. I can’t go to jail, the last thing I ever want to have happen is for me to lose my freedom again.”
>”It seems as though she panicked as well. Desperate for that statue of yours or desperate to get to us, I don’t know. She pushed you too far, and now you’re paying the price.”
“So you understand?”
>”Of course. Desperation, panic, and miscalculation lead to awful things. Ponies get hurt, people die. Thus, I don’t go on any jobs any more unless we’ve planned for every contingency, down to each possible witness.”
>”You will find need for care in the coming times, what have you planned?”
“Two-bit’s arranging a hideout for me. I’ll spend three months in the desert, training, learning to control my powers.”
>”But what then? When you get back, ponies will still be looking for you, even if a bit less fervently. What have you planned for your return?”

“I’m just not sure what to do. My thing with Boomerang just seems so insignificant now.”
>”Your quest for revenge may not be over. Since you have encountered Boomerang three times previously, it’s possible that Boomerang considers you a personal failure. I would be surprised if she wasn’t searching for you as we speak.”
“Maybe I’ll try to make up for it somehow. Go for someone… Worse than me.”
>”Finding such a pony would be a difficult task. Many of those with a more unfortunate record than you can be found in one place.”
“What’s that?”
>”Balkham Asylum. And even if they do escape, they soon find their way back inside at the hooves of the Power Ponies.”
“That’s uplifting.”
>”I try not to sugarcoat, just simply state what I feel is the truth.”
“So what, I'd have to out-power pony the Power Ponies?”
>”While finding yourself a target of their blind justice as well.”
“Sounds possible.”
>”Hardly. There is another option, though I predict with very high certainty you won’t like it, given what you’ve told me.”
“What’s that?”
>”Allow us to turn you in, let one of us collect the award money. We could certainly use it.”

“It goes against everything I just said.”
>”It would allow you some form of redemption. Use your missteps to help us.”
“The answer is no.”
>”I suspect further attempts at reason will be fruitless.”
“You’re asking me to surrender my freedom, the thing I value more than anything else, to line your pockets. What did you expect?”
>Ice stands to meet you, shaking her head.
>”It doesn’t matter. I don’t wish for us to part on hostile terms, and I think it would be better if we changed the subject or ended the conversation now. I do believe you have other things you have to accomplish before you part.”

“Basically just gotta wait around for the rest of the day, then head out tomorrow.”
>”No preparations?”
“I have everything I need right on my back already, and going out would be suicide.”
>”Well then, enjoy your last day free from the desert heat for a while.”
“Yeah, I think we’re done here.”
>”Take care, Easy Ride.”
>You make your way to the sofa, idly flipping through channels as a couple hours pass, until you hear the bedroom door creak open.
>You shut off the television and meet the green stallion, chatting idly as the two of you make your way to the kitchen.
>”So, have you all decided what to do?”
“I’ll spend some time in the desert learning how to control my magic.”
>”So, you’re leaving?”
“Seems like it. I’ll probably come back, but it’ll be a while.”
>Tinker’s face falls, but he doesn’t seem incredibly upset by the news, or have much to say in response.
>He mumbles to himself, and you just barely catch it.
>”Never had a chance anyway…”
>The two of you eat in silence, chewing on some leftover fruit you found in the fridge.
>Soon, your late lunch passes, the two of you throwing the seeds in the garbage.
“No use moping around, let’s get to tinkering, sound good?”
>”Sounds good to me.”
>The two of you make your way over to the working area, flipping your jacket on.
>Your motorcycle sits proudly in the center of the area, though its usually shining black paint has streaks left from the storm a couple nights back.
>Placing his welding mask on his head, he flips open his workbench and hoofs a wrench to you, looking over your bike.
>”So, what are we gonna do? Do something to this baby over here? Just work on one of the old junkers around here? Do some more work on my suit?”

>”Yeah, sorry. Suit is out then.”
“Working on the bike, or really anything with an engine in it would be nice.”
>”Right, let’s get to work.”
>The two of you get to work, your tools working away at your motorbike as the hours tick away.
>Many times, you have to guide Tinker’s tools as he nearly does something disastrous.
>You’re fairly certain he mentioned something about installing screws into the treads for extra traction in the desert sand.
>Or adding antifreeze to the gas tank to prevent the night’s temperatures from damaging it.
>Either way, with your capable hooves helping his not-so-capable ones, you while away the hours in relative peace.
>You disassemble and reassemble parts to pass the time, replace the mildly damaged suspension, and give your bike a good polishing.
>Just sitting and working on your bike feels right, like nothing could possibly be wrong with the world right now, nothing matters but you and your bike.
(cont.)
>>
>>25604142
>You even install Tinker’s winch. It attaches to the front end of your bike, and fires a grapple that should allow you to climb up any building less than fifteen stories high.
>With the winch on the front, of the bike, you’d still have to go backwards down the other side of the building, and in almost every case, it would be faster to just drive around.
>Should be an easy escape from any groundbound supers, at least.
>However, with Tinker’s orbs all used up, and you wanting to save Two-bit’s gift, you’ll be forced to drain off your bike’s orb heavily if you use it.
>Takes a lot of energy to beat gravity, even with an engine helping.
>From what Tinker says, your orb is still going pretty strong, a good eighty percent of its power left.
>At one point in your work, Two-bit returns, mentioning everything is ready and good to go at first light tomorrow.
>All too soon, day turns to night, and you feel your eyes start to droop.
>Tinker looks to be in similar condition, his head nodding as he tightens a bolt on your bike.
“Think we should call it a day?” you ask, setting your wrench aside.
>”Think so.” Tinker says, flipping up his helmet. “Listen, I know what you said a couple nights ago, but you think tonight we could still, you know… Cuddle? It'll be the last time in a while you'll be able to.”

>You stare at him, and he looks away, scratching his neck and glancing down at the ground.
“Fine.”
>You practically hear him squee, and his eyes light up.
>He throws his helmet off and sprints over to the bedroom, throwing it open.
>Turn him down, burn down a building, and he still wants to cuddle with you.
>At least you won’t be alone, right?
>You place your tools down, putting them away where they belong.
>Walking your way over, you find Tinker laying on the bed, his toy car haphazardly stowed underneath the bed.
>The other ponies seem to be asleep, sprawled across their own beds.
>Hesitating a moment, you hop up onto Tinker’s bed, and he immediately wraps his hooves around you.
>He pulls you close to him, resting his head on your chest.
>You reciprocate the gesture, your head resting on the pillow, and your hind hooves entangling with his.
>”I’m sorry, Easy. I know I’m clingy, pushy, and you don’t feel the same about me, but this is nice, right?”
“Yeah, cuddling with a cute little Tinker isn’t all that bad.”
>Tinker smiles, his ears flopping backwards.
>”Sorry it didn’t work out, you being a villain.”
“Me too…”
>The two of you drift off to sleep in each other’s embrace, Tinker’s light snores filling your ears as you slowly slip into sleep.
(Cont...)
>>
>>25604618
>Two-bit’s voice calls you from the sweet embrace of sleep.
>”Hey, wake up Easy, it’s almost time to go.”
>You blink your eyes, blearily drawing yourself into the waking world.
>Your left hoof has fallen asleep, locked under Tinker’s green form.
>His arms still hold you tightly, wrapping around you as they had last night.
>You shake him awake, and he retracts his embrace, slowly pulling away from you.
>”Morning,” he coos, his eyes half-lidded and filled with sleep.
“Morning,” you say, stretching your hooves out. Your joints pop and creak in response, having been locked in one position for most of the night.
>”Any nightmares last night?”
“Nothing at all, thankfully.”
>”Glad to hear.”
>The two of you get out of bed, and you get to work preparing all you need for your little journey.
>Two-bit collects your bits, leaving you with just a hoofful, and he assures you that they’ll all go precisely where they need to go.
>You eat, wash, and gather a few comforts, all collected in your motorcycle’s basket or saddlebags.
>You say your final goodbyes to the rest of the crew, and all packed for your desert adventure, you wait.
>The loading truck pulls up to the garage door, a low roar of an engine piercing through the metal garage door.
>Tinker presses the button, raising the garage door, and you pop open the back hatch.
>Crates of food and water line the truck, as well as straw for bedding.
>The five of you load your motorcycle, general mechanical supplies, a radio, and yourself into the truck, and you say your final goodbyes.
>Two-bit waves to you, then a golden glow covers the door, and it slams shut.
>The truck lurches forward, and you flop onto the straw, crossing your legs and getting comfortable.
>Three months in the desert just to hone, train, and get better.
>Three months to try and surpass the power ponies.
>Here you go.

Apologies for the slowness of today’s session, wasn’t a whole lot of action that needed to be done.

That being said, I do have some questions for how you’d like the desert training to go. Next time, we could pick up with Easy at the end of her desert excursion, ready to come back home. Not much boredom, pretty much straight back into the action.

We could do a small session at the beginning with her getting set up, then timeskip one month at a time, just little check-ins. That way, you could play a hand in choosing what Easy does, and you could see her progress.

Or we could do something else entirely, it’s up to you guys, how much you want to play through the desert.

Other than that, I'm open to any questions you might have.

It's okay, they're kind of trash.

The villains learn the magic of friendship and team up to beat the power ponies and steal their powers.

Then Hum Drum watches My Little Donkey and teaches the power ponies to be friends again. Then they ruin the villains' friendship so they can get their powers back.
