Nigger they are literally the bottom of the barrel as far as main 6 goes. One is a completely oblivious meme pony who does nothing but act like a fucking moron because the writers literally can't think of an actual personality for her. She's basically Spike with an element of harmony. She's a small step better than Fluttershy because every now and then she has a decent episode, but they are few and far between.

The other one is a one hit wonder who can never fucking learn a lesson for once in her life. Every single episode of hers is the same thing over and over again.

Flut's anxiety can be an endearing and relatable characteristic. Also typically IRL it's not a trait solved by simply getting over one thing.

Ponk was at her best pre-S3 but has suffered since then by writers who generally don't know what the fuck to do with her except pull her out whenever they need a character to bounce off of the walls or do some other nonsensical shit. Occasionally they still do her right though, or even find something new and interesting to do with her.
