No, probably not.

If the morals on this show really teach you something, it's time to rethink your life.

The show didn't.

The fandom did, though. Not as a teacher or a lifesaver, but as a catalyst. I was exposed very quickly to a lot of the darker sides of the internet through you assholes, and seeing all of the perversion and the hate and infighting made me ask myself questions.

Short story shorter, I wised the fuck up, chilled the fuck out, and got my head on straight faster than if I was just letting the human condition pass me by.

The best thing ever to happen to me was my decision to quit making excuses and just be honest with myself. These pygmy goddesses were the next best thing.

I've wasted way too much time looking at, downloading, sorting and posting pictures of ponies. Got reputation of a quirky smartass IRL. Good times on the Internet. Sad times in the Internet. New friends. I don't regret it, it's one hell of a ride. Even if I spend more time on the Undertale now it won't last even nearly as long. The show is still alright, but the writers simply lost sense of direction I guess, the "pony did something retarded but got better in the end" plot runs amok.

The birthplace, perhaps not too literally. No one is really born with morals straight up, so someone has to guide them. That's where family comes in. These aren't usually the cases as there may be alternatives or substitute "guides" like school and friends, but mostly that's how it works.

The show itself? Not really, other than that it's okay to enjoy things that are more out of the ordinary than just "not my age".

I did hit a low part in my life recently when I made a tulpa. It was actually a pretty good thing, I never imposed them and we never worked on much of a physical form. They helped me become a better person in a way. I started dressing nicer when I went to classes, shaving, and taking better care of myself. They represented my subconscious desires to become a better person and helped me achieve that so that's nice.

I wouldn't say it alone has changed me for the better, but the people surrounding it sure have changed my view on whats considered acceptable and tolerant. Anime has been more of an influence to me than anything (in terms of justice and whats moral).
