Yah they do, I've seen them on multiple occasions and am pretty sure they were being serious and unironic. They made points like "the world building is obviously just to sell toys" and that this is made obvious with the mmc, and the castle, among other things. I can't tell if the show is better or worse without her, (I assume that it is only slightly lesser without her, but the remaining staff is doing an excellent job at picking up where she left off), but people who start saying "canon things aren't canon, or shouldn't be canon in my eyes because it wasn't actually supposed to happen under faust..." is some fuckery.

I take this show seriously, not "so seriously". I definitely like to analyze the episodes and make note of things like characterization and plot development among other things. I would say that I don't go overboard with it though, although I feel like being a male fan of this show is "overboard" as it is, and that its just how much are we drowning compared to others.

Personally, for me, my art really reached that point where I could say "I made this and this is something I'm happy I can contiunously make" about a couple months ago.
I know however, its this weird battle for dominance between your vision skill and your drawing skill. If you drawing skill is better than your vision skill, then it looks good. If your vision skill is better than your drawing skill, then it looks bad and in severe cases you're in art block

I've had that feeling about my code before. I reflect on what I did right and try to reproduce that.

Then sometimes when you see others' code and without documentation you can tell exactly what's going on and after only digging a little you get a general idea of the logic of the whole general system? That's fucking beauty. Especially when you can see it's based on just a really simple programming pattern.

Alright, I'm going to get real autistic.

This show has done so many positive things for me as well as the community, and I can't thank you guys enough. Back in high school on the football team, I was actually inspired by that scene where Twilight was reading her books as a filly late into the night, to the point where I went 100% in every aspect of football (as she would've expected and wanted of me). Using that motivation, I ended up getting the starting spot in my senior year and scored a defensive touchdown. If school got too hard, I could retreat into the show and the community to let go and enjoy. I ended up learning how to draw which gave me an artistic side which I've never had. This show, the fandom and you guys.... gave me laughter, great episodes, amazing art, great music (that isn't dubstep) among many many many other things, and just helped me learn a lot about life and myself and what shit's all about. Partially due to the ponies, now that I'm in college, I am still athletic, have a 4.0, and have a pretty decent social life (and I'm not just talking about the great friends I've made through the community).

When I'm 30, 40, 50 and later on, I know in my heart that no matter what, I will be absolutely proud to have been a part of this ride. Looking forward to the future with you guys. I love you guys like extended family in a way.
