There's a dronepone? This is a thing? Alright planefags, you've caught my attention. Is there any green for this semen demon?

You must read this. Right now.

>You are now plane.

>"You are now plane."
"No I'm not."
>"I'm standing on a balcony. You aren't."
"Huh?"
>You look down to see you are in fact standing on the tarmac and easily eye level with this random jackass on the gantry.
"Well shit, look at that. I thought my nose looked different."
>"Report to Terminal 11D."
"O-okay."
>Not much else to do but go along with it as you try to get used to walking.
>A little more difficult than it first appears as you stumble your way around, trying to compensate for gravity and the whole having four legs thing.
>This might be fun?
>Machines can last indefinitely as long as they don't break down.
>Can you break down?
>You're alive, but sort of not?
>Would you classify as a machine or as a living being?
>Do you even age?
>Why is your voice so light?
>At least you're still a guy, right?
>You can feel a couple of joints in your neck pop as you look down past your stomach.
>You snap your head back up for fear of getting lost with your long strides.
"Nope."
>You glance to the airport buildings to find the number you were supposed to go to.
>Being so large really makes getting around a breeze.
>You timidly trot up to the terminal where another airline pony is idly standing in an adjacent spot.
>You look inside one of the windows to find only a single passenger walking inside.
>There's a clunk and suddenly he turns around towards the door, which has locked and sealed.
>He tries to get it open while the airplane pony just smiles and starts walking backwards towards the runway.
>The last sight you have is of the reluctant passenger banging on one of the coach windows until he is out of sight, her flanks bouncing along as she eagerly moves to the starting position.
"What the hell?"
>"Hey! Newbie, look sharp, everyone's waiting."
>You look down to someone waving to you with little light up orange cones.
>He repeats the gesture and you just stand there confused.
"I have no idea what that means."
>Being an airplane pony is weird.

>"Just get your hooves on the white x's there."
"Right."
>You unsteadily reach out a rubber-tipped forehoof while balancing on the other legs.
>Just like morning stretches.
>Kind of.
>You wobble unsteadily and slap the hoof down before repeating the process for the rest of your new legs, studying the rather blank looking framework as they move in front of you.
>The experience is a little disgusting, all told.
>You can feel parts and pieces that weren't there maybe an hour ago and watching them move as you exert your will is a strange experience.
>You finally stop after catching yourself from falling a couple of times and look hopefully at the guy with the bright cone wands.
>"Kind of dramatic but okay they're right on target, just hold still."
>Oh, hey, you lined them up perfectly.
>Getting used to this body was easier than you thought.
>You haven't even started muttering "ia, ia cthulu plonehtagn!" yet.
>Must be the panicky adrenaline or shock, or something.
>Hope you don't freak out during flight.
>Given a moment of peace, you inspect yourself further.
>You wiggle your hips from side to side.
>You admire how your butt glints in the morning light and hold back a girlish giggle.
>Yeah, this could be fun after all.
>You turn your head to look at the engines on your wings and try to get them to move.
>They sort of felt like arms, but in the wrong position.
>Now if you could just get your engines to-
"Oh my God!"
>The guy on the ground jumps.
>"What, what? What's wrong?"
"I made one of the little flaps move."
>"Oh. You're one of those. Great."
"One of what?"
>"Just sit still."
>He backs away and movement on one side catches your attention.
>You eye the terminal boarding ramp, or "jet bridge," the sign on it reads, anxiously as it extends towards you.
>You open your mouth wide and clamp down as gently as you can.
>>

>"What the hell are you doing?!"
>You let go quickly and look at the frantically waving cones.
"Having breakfast!"
>You grab the boom filled with passengers and rip it off of its attachment with a great metallic squeal.
>Hoisting it to the sky you shove your mouth over one end and start chugging down victims before you slap the twisted metal down like a crumpled beer bottle.
"Mwahahahaha!"
>A voice interrupts the day dreaming.
>"Hey, don't space out, I'm talking to you!"
>A safety-orange blur makes you blink unsteadily and look down.
"Can you stop waving those around? They really don't mean anything to me."
>Despite how much smaller he is, you can see him roll his eyes incredulously.
>"You'll learn protocol eventually."
"Actually, I was just thinking, maybe I should have been a military plane instead."
>"Yeah well you're not. Should have read the fine print."
"This was in there?!"
>"Yeah. When you booked the flight it should have asked if you hereby promise to abide by all rules and regulations with the airlines and aircraft administration."
"Well yeah, I checked the box but-"
>"Then you didn't read the fine print, did you?"
>You shake your head.
>"It specifically says that in case of severe delays or planes planes being taken down for maintenance, they will select a passenger of that flight and turn them into a plane pony. Why do you think they guaranteed the flight will never be more than five minutes late or canceled?"
"Is that legal? There's no way that's legal."
>"Fine print. You didn't read it. Electronic signature counts."
"You've gotta be kidding me."
>"Best kept secret in the business."
"It's not even a secret, it's right there in the fine print!"
>"Nobody reads it."
>Your jaw clenches and unclenches a few times.
>"So stand still, stop whining about it, and try to enjoy it."
>Maybe that panic thing is still an option.

"Enjoy it? I'm a fifty-foot-tall metal pony!"
>"Sixty-three at the withers, and calm down. Don't panic around the terminal, you'll get someone hurt."
"Don't panic? Don't panic?!"
>"Yes. Don't. You need to stop before you trample someone or break something."
"Maybe they'll turn that into a pony too."
>"Don't you even start. None of us have anything to do with that; we're just random workers moving shit around, that's it. We don't do whatever it is they do out there in Hangar 4, alright? It's a raw deal but you signed the damned papers and your number came up."
>You start to say something but he waves his signal lights around like he had authority.
>"Whatever it is, will come later. We need you back in your spot so we can start boarding passengers.
"How?"
>"Relax and let the crews do the rest, they'll open up the door and that'll be all."
"So that little door on the side's not decoration, huh?"
>"No. In the position, please."
>You hadn't realized you moved when you got mad.
>You wobbly get back into position and try to relax.
>The jet bridge completes its route towards your side by that little door and you shift uncomfortably as you wait for something to happen.
"Hey, but-"
>"We'll work it out later."
"No, I mean, how do I fly?"
>"They didn't even... wow. Okay, when passenger's start boarding, and trust me, you'll know when they do, keep quiet. I heard that flying's kind of instinctive, but they should have you do some flight tests on the way."
>You just blinked at him.
>"Alright, see if you can get an engine going. Softly, softly!"
>You feel along the alien body, trying to twitch muscles wherever you felt them. A couple of aerofoil flaps moved and shifted but after a minute something made a loud clang.
>A gently push was all it took and then it was hard to describe.
>The sensation was like pedaling a bike with a finger, but with barely any effort at all.
>It was so easily as the thrum of the turbine turned into a whine as it spun up.

>It was disturbing in every way but you couldn't stop watching the engine crank up.
>You could feel the shuddering of the single engine trying to tug your entire frame forward with more and more power.
>It was like stretching an arm you didn't have as flaps moved alongside it.
>That makes you go up, that makes you go down, that is turn, this is turn the other way, that's a roll.
>Faster and faster, it was so easy!
>Blurs of orange waved in your peripherals and you snapped out of your second trance of the day.
>You couldn't even hear what he was saying until the engine dulled and stopped with as little effort as it took to start it.
>"Cool your jets!"
"R-right, yeah... so-sorry."
>You turn back to the jet bridge.
"I think I've learned how to-"
>You are cut off by a mechanical clank that is as foreign as the rest of your morning.
>The door.
>You feel it and a shudder of revulsion passes through you, your wing flaps twitching.
>"Hold steady!" the ground crewman waves.
"That was weird."
>"It's going to be weird, just take it in stride."
"Take it in stride, take it in stride, yeah, take it in-"
>You get a feeling that is hard to explain.
>Butterflies brushing against the inside of your lungs?
>The tickle of purple touching your brain?
>You feel it move, followed by more of the sensations.
>Passengers
"Th-they're boarding. Unf."
>The ground crewman just looks at you weirdly.
>You just duck your head down and whisper to him as quietly as a giant animal can.
"I'm nervous as hell and trying to make a joke, talk to me before I give in to the temptation and take a peek through the windows."
>"Oh! Uh, ha ha? Yeah, don't look. Think about fluffy bunnies, not the fatty sitting in seat 5C."
"Haha.... he's not a fat slob, right? Please tell me he's not."

"You know it."

>You whip your head around and take a peek.
>No supermodels, but there is a business man, a young couple, and... this is all inside of you.
>Your new body.
>Has people in it.
>You can feel the movement, shoes on the floor, butts on the cushions.
"Ha. Haha."
>"You okay?"
>You crane your neck down, not paying attention to how uncomfortably close you're putting your face to him.
"I looked. There's people."
>"Chill."
"In me. Haha. People. In me. Hahaha. Ha."
>"Plane-er, plane horse? Don't freak out, okat?"
>You stop your broken laughing and affix him with a very, very lucid stare.
"What the fuck is my life."
>"Deal with it for now. You can get it straightened out later."
"I can get changed back?"
>He shrugs.
>"If they did it, they can undo it, right?"
"I didn't think about that."
>You bring a hoof to your chin thoughtfully.
>And in doing so, immediately lose your balance.
>You smack your foreleg back down before you can tip more than a foot or so.
>"Just stay calm and relax."
"Yeah, I got it."
>"You sure?"
"Yeah, but another question."
>"Go ahead?"
"How do I know where I'm going?"
>"They should send you the information."
"Like a map? Who reads maps these days?"
>"No, like to your guidance system."
"I have that?"
>"Yeah. You should just be able to kind, know, wherever you are and where you're supposed to go."
"You know how creepy that is?"
>"No, but you will soon."
"Riiight."
>There's a lot of people now.
>You can feel it.
"Eugh."
>"Don't get sick while you're flying."
"No, no, I'm just thinking about it again."
>"Nothing to think about. We've done this before."
"How often?"
>He starts to sweat.
>"Not that often."
>You give him a dumb look.
"So how do I know when they're all aboard?"
>"The jet bridge will start to-speak of the devil. It's retracting. Guess everyone's on."
>The large assembly slowly wheels back away from you and towards the rest of the terminal.
>"Do you know where you're going yet?"
"No, I-"
>>
>>25457046
>Something touches your head and you jerk your face upwards.
>You look in the reflective glass of the terminal.
>Your can feel your ears twitching and rotating around and see the image mirrored in the glass.
>It's like a spider's web in your hair.
>But you don't even see any hair.
>Your ears droop sadly but continue to twitch as your big, pony eyes scan yourself up and down.
>It looks like they're behind windows of their own, almost.
>Some kind of screen comes down and narrows your eyes like as if you were squinting.
>Your big eyes search back and forth, even after the sensation stops and you suddenly have an exact fix on where you are.
>28.434868, -81.300304
"Freaky."
>"What's up?"
"I can feel all these things."
>A ping of a sort rings in your head like a chime requesting attention and you reflexively turn your head towards the West.
>Your destination.
>31.323226, -92.546731
>Not that far.
>It's like a fair jog.
>Your eyes scan the sky as you get the feeling again.
>Your head swimming with new information, you shake yourself and try to regain control.
"Which way to the runway?"
>"Outbound is over there, see that section?"
>You follow along where he is pointing with a cone, but then turns towards a small car making its way towards you.
>"Nevermind, they have a guide car for you."
"Guide car?"
>"Yeah, we don't need to tow you traditional airplanes, but we still use them to lead you."
>That thing was supposed to be your guide?
>It was like a matchbox car.
>You could probably pick this little toy up if you actually had fingers.
>"Just follow it to the runway."
"Um, I guess this is goodbye then?"
>"You'll be back. Whatever airport you were created in is responsible as your home base."
"Oh. I guess I'll see you around then."
>You start to walk away and follow the little car when you hear one last reply.
>"Try not to crash!"
>You can see your expression in the windows above him.
"Did you have to say that?!"
>"Good luck!"
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be back."

"I'll be back."
>Back to normal?
>Hope so.
>You watch the spinning yellow lamp of the guide car and slowly walk behind.
>It feels like a snail's pace after the headway you were making just going around on your own.
>Your heavy plod beats a regular rhythm on the hard surface, putting you into a bored trance.
>You idly take a minute to think about your predicament, letting your eyes wander.
>The detail you can pick up is startling whenever you pay attention.
>You're fifty feet above the little cart but you can make out letters the size of quarters next to the little insignia on the back of the vehicle.
"Tatra T813 Pushback Tug."
>You look up and away towards the other aircraft on the airport.
>It's mostly made up of traditional planes, but there are a couple of plane ponies around, the one from earlier third in line for take off.
>You glance down to find that the machine had unexpectedly come to a stop.
>One of your forelegs was moving right for it.
>You yelp instinctively, your feminine voice startling your sensibilities while you try to avoid flattening the car like a cheap, plastic toy.
>With grace born of stumbling around for the last half hour, you throw your weight forward even further.
>Your balance is lost and you lurch to the front, towards the tug.
>At the same time, you throw out a foreleg and wince.
>You come to a stop.
>You can feel your frame rattle slightly from the heavy step and vaguely hear the reactions of your jarred passengers.
>You freeze, not daring to recover yourself as your whole body is tilted forward awkwardly towards the extended foreleg.
>You open your eyes, checking the tug for damage.
>Looks like your hoof landed a good fifteen feet in front of it.
>The yellow caution light is spinning, intact and the driver has popped his head out of the window.
>You notice a sweat drop drip down his scared face.
>"Holy shit, girl!"
>You blink at him, feeling your ears subconsciously flexing to focus on him.
>>
>>25464783
>Right, the whole 'female' plane horse thing.
"S-sorry."
>You can hear his radio, plain as day.
>Idle chatter and someone talking about moving luggage to Terminal C.
>"I ain't moving 'till you promise to watch me. Just me. Nothin' else."
"I'm really sorry."
>"No I'm sorry's. Focus. On. Me. Can you do that?"
"Yes. Yes I can do that."
>He narrows his eyes even further.
>The effect was lost on you when your foot-er-hoof could encompass his entire car.
>"You promise?"
"Yes! I promise!"
>He doesn't say anything more, merely popping his head back inside the window and starting off again.
>You wait, not daring to move for a few seconds, head turning this way and that to ensure some other random cart doesn't decide that you'd make a good bridge to try and go under.
>It isn't hard to become entrapped in the new sensations.
>Your field of view is absolutely massive, even if you can only focus on so large of an area at a time.
>The detail is incredible, like seeing everything for the first time, even if the view is warped compared to your former self's.
>Once the cart turns to go around a stretch of tarmac and out towards the lanes that lead to the actual runways, you bring your body up to pace with your forehoof.
>Your sudden change in posture lets you feel individuals inside shift with a few more confused murmurings and more than one voice of surprise.
>You're probably not going to be able to get used to the feeling for a long time.
>There's people inside you.
>How the hell do you have space for any organs.
>Do plane ponies need organs?
>You've never flown in one before.
>The queasy feeling of vertigo starts to hit as you think too hard and you take a few more steps to catch up with the tug, still going at a pace a slug would find slow.
>Your eyes keeps glancing at the side mirrors and half the time the driver is looking back as well.
>You have to stop again to let a normal plane go by and you duck your head down to look through the windows.
>>
>>25465109
>A couple of kids on board take notice and wave at you, but you only dare to flash a pleasant smile before you re-attach your eyes on the guide truck.
>The flashing yellow light continues until you stand in line on the tarmac, two planes ahead of you.
>The cart starts to move out of the way without so much as a parting note and drives along the smaller side-roads towards the Airport proper.
>The other plane ponies have already taken off.
>You watch him go for a few seconds before a strange feeling like a bee buzzing in your nonexistent hair makes you wigger your nose.
>"Tower to Flight 63, PNY-63. Please respond."
"Uh?"
>You look towards the control tower and balance on three legs just long enough to raise a hoof and gesture to your ear.

"uh. Okay?"
>You're talking to air.
>Instinctual.
>Sure.
>You narrow your eyes in the morning sun and think really hard about the control tower and radios.
"Hello, hello, Tower? Can you hear me?"
>"PNY-63, lower your signal strength, copy!"
>You try to relax a little and widen your stance.
"Sorry. I copy. Er. I think."
>"We're reading you loud and clear, PNY-63. This is company rep Alex Chase. I'll be guiding you through flight procedure since you're new. Can you tell us which way you need to go?"
"North-East to 31.323226 by -92.546731."
>The numbers flow easily and naturally, like you had memorized them forever.
>Guess it really was mostly instinct.
>"Correct. I'll get you started on flight checklists. Do you know how to start your engines?"
"Yes."
>"You're going to want them all going before you get to the takeoff zone. Spin them up slowly."
"I'm confused about flying height."
>"How high up are you now?"
"Fifty feet above sea level, why?"
>"You have an altimeter."

>"I'm afraid so. It's standard procedure with new plane ponies. Just the bare minimum until you get your first flight out of the way and settle into the body. Helps prevent a panic due to trying to deal with too many things at once."
>The voice on the other end paused for a few seconds with some muttering in the background that you couldn't quite comprehend.

"I think I could have lived without knowing that."
>"Yes. We'll give you the full details on your new body once you return. Have you tested your flaps?"

What personality would ThunderScreech have?
Turboprop made to attempt a supersonic prop plane for the Navy, ended up being a nightmare.
the plane itself never broke the sound barrier, and is unofficially the loudest aircraft ever produced.
the spinning prop was simultaneously above and below the speed of sound, so it reportedly made 900 sonic booms per second at all times.
the shockwaves would tear up the runway beneath it and cause sickness for the ground crew.
though I'd imagine many of you here knew these facts already.

there were some traditional 4 cycle engines with this problem, but the trans-sonic pressure would cause other problems, causing them to crash or stall the engine.
The Thunderscreech had a nearly 6000 horsepower turbine with swept wings and an elevator made to be out of the way of the turbulent airflow, so it could still fly under these conditions.

> In early April, North Korean media unveiled a new camouflage scheme for one of its most important military aircraft. The supreme leader himself, Kim Jong-Un, was seen on television footage at the controls of one of the spruced-up examples. But this was no sleek and nimble jet fighter – it was a 1940s-era biplane that looks like a tractor with wings. North Korean An-2s could be used to fly low and slow over the border to drop commando teams behind South Korean lines – so low that they would be difficult to pick up on radar.

> The Antonov An-2 proudly displayed by the North Korean military is now painted green on top and blue on the bottom, a colour scheme that makes it difficult to see, both by planes flying above and observers on the ground. But why, in 2015, would the North Koreans be flying a plane that looks more at home in an Indiana Jones film than front-line service?

> The Antonov An-2 first flew in 1947, as the Soviet Union was rebuilding after the tumult of World War II. Even on its maiden flight it looked archaic; aviation technology had already joined the jet age. But the An-2 was an incredibly sound design – built in the thousands, exported all across the globe, and still serving nearly 70 years after decades of production. And the plane has one very special attribute – aside from its remarkably short take-off and landing – that should be physically impossible. It can, essentially, fly backwards.

> > The An-2 was designed to fulfil a role needed by the Soviet Forest Ministry, both as a crop duster and for utility transport. Its designer, Oleg Antonov, created a large, single-engine biplane, with an enclosed cockpit and room for up to 12 passengers or just over a tonne of cargo. The An-2 would have to operate from rough airfields – not just unpaved, grass airstrips, but dirt roads and forest clearings in the middle of Russia’s sparsely settled wilderness. This called for a simple, tough aircraft that would be able to take off and land in very short spaces – an aircraft much easier to maintain than more mechanically complex helicopters.

> More than 19,000 were made in the Soviet Union and then Poland until 1991, and thousands more under licence in China – occasionally aircraft continue to be built there.

> “The reason the An-2 still flies is that there is really no other aircraft like it,” says aviation writer Bernie Leighton, who has flown in an An-2 in Belarus. “If you need an aircraft that can carry 10 soldiers, people or goats, that can take off from anywhere and land anywhere ‒ it is either that or a helicopter.

> “Flying on an An-2 is unlike any other aircraft in modern times. First, it's a tail-dragger, so once you climb the steps into the cabin, everything is leaning distinctly rearwards. It is also a very ‘firm’ aircraft. You feel every single bump in the terrain, every control surface movement. One must remember, however, that this aircraft was not built for passenger comfort,” says Leighton.

> “Is it extremely loud? Yes, especially for a single-engine aircraft. Is it strangely warm despite only having small windows? Of course. Still, it's an absolute blast once you get airborne.”

> The An-2’s archaic design is a means to an end; the two sets of wings in its biplane design generate a lot of lift – which means it can take off in a very short distance, as you can see below.
>>

> The lift that these wings provides means that the An-2's minimum speed is remarkably slow. A pilot can still fly the plane under full control at around 25mph (40km/h). In fact, its flight manual does not have a published stall speed. An average Cessna, by comparison, will stall if the airspeed drops below 50mph (80km/h). This makes the An-2 very popular with parachute training and skydiving schools, and it also means the aircraft can essentially hover – a favoured trick of An-2 pilots during airshow displays. To do so, the pilot flies into a headwind, and if the wind is strong enough, this manoeuvre can make the plane move backwards very slowly while still under full control.

> Sounds impossible? Then ask Bill Leary, the flight manager of the UK An-2 Club which flies out of Popham Airfield near Basingstoke in the UK. He’s been flying an ex-Hungarian An-2 for the past 14 years.

> The key to the plane’s ability to hover – and even fly backwards in the right conditions – lie in the ‘control surfaces’ on the wings. At the front are flexible panels called leading edge slats. These are often deployed during landing, as they increase wind resistance and bring down the aircraft’s speed. Similar panels on the rear of the wing called flaps can be used to lower the speed of the aircraft as well but increase lift by altering the shape of the wing. On an An-2, the flaps run the entire length of the back of the lower wings, and more on the top wings, which equals lots of lift, and a ridiculously slow minimum speed.

> “If you’ve got a strong enough wind, let’s say 15 to 20 knots, you can ‘hover’ the aeroplane,” says Leary. “You put all of the flaps down and leading edge slats on the front of the wing, You turn the aircraft 40 degrees into the wind and give the engine an awful lot of power and you can hold it there.”

> > Leary describes the An-2 as a joy to fly, but adds that it demands a lot of attention. It’s very sensitive to movements on the control stick – essentially the plane ‘wants’ to fly, so requires little effort to move upwards. But turning the aircraft requires great physical effort. The An-2 has no computers to move the flying surfaces, like a modern Boeing or Airbus, and it doesn’t even have hydraulic controls, which require less force – “it’s all down to cables and rods and human effort,” says Leary.

> “It’s very physical. You need the muscles of an ironmonger.”

> Had the An-2 been designed and built on the other side of the Berlin Wall, its resilient design might have made it a much more famous plane than it is. “The An-2 only kills you if you do something stupid in it,” says Leighton. “It's almost too simple to suffer from things like metal-fatigue. If it lost its engine, well it's not like you really have to worry about where to land. It's not a comfortable aircraft, but it really is extremely safe.” And of course, this unassuming plane has a brilliantly “backward” ability that puts it in a class of its own.

"The perspex-glazed crew gondola on the starboard side strongly resembled that found on the Fw 189, and housed the pilot, observer and rear gunner, while the fuselage on the port side led smoothly from the BMW 132N radial engine to a tail unit.

At first glance, the placement of weight would have induced tendency to roll, but the weight was evenly supported by lift from the wings.

In terms of thrust vs drag asymmetry, the countering of induced yaw was a more complicated matter. At low airspeed, it was calculated to be mostly alleviated because of a phenomenon known as P-factor, while at normal airspeed it proved to be easily controlled with trimming.

The tailplane was symmetrical at first, but in the 141B it became asymmetrical – starboard tailplane virtually removed – to improve the rear gunner's field of view and fire."

-Wikipedia's bit about it.

the problem is even if you do something amazing then you also need a consistant flow of content and feedback, a good example of this is the rainbow dash thread, it coasted by for a while but after nobody seemed to care the writefags left one by one until last I checked they just get by doing nothing but reposting old content.

tl;dr: something like that might help a little at first but you'd need a steady flow of content to keep it afloat otherwise it'll just sink back down again.

hopefully this is just a thanksgiving break thing though.

You remember the morning clearly, the cold nipping at your feet as you sat up in bed. Your slumber had been less than satisfactory, the ancient springbox mattress beneath you groaned as it felt your weight lift off of it.
The first morning of winter on Equestria South Air Force Base, or just the airstrip as it was called locally. But today was special for you, it was Thanksgiving; a holiday unknown to the local equines, much less the aircraft varieties. Your job was to sweep the floors, a humble task for an alien from another universe. Your lack of pilot training nor knowledge of local biology left you fit for labor jobs. Your barracks were specially small, you couldn't risk having the ceiling fan running because it hung at just the perfect height to swipe you right in the adam's apple.

"Morning Anonymous, heard we're having a new planepony stop in today." your friend Squeaky Clean said

He was a kind pony, also a janitor. You and him were taking the earlybird shift, cleaning up the aftermath of some Friday night party out in hangar 4. You and Squeaky sat in a bright blue golfcart as it sputtered down the taxiway towards hangar 4. You and him pulled open the heavy metal doors, they croaked in annoyance as they slid along the railing.
You peaked inside an pulled the light switch, oh joy, it was trashed. All manner of garbage laid strewn across the floor, spilled drinks made it even more hazardous.
Another day, another dollar more like a nickel
Tried a shot at prose instead of greentext

they'd probably launch a series of joint operations for your affection, usually falling along the lines of two distract you while the third acts trying to maintain the guise of being your good friends while all trying to get closer than that.....as a team.

Do plones like it when you rub their wings?
>>
>>25559521
Yes. A lot. They fucking love it.

DronePlone would make an indifferent comment about how her wings are made of lightweight materials and composites and thus have no sensors that respond to human touch.
She would, however, advise you not to stop.

>You and Squeaky get to cleaning, picking up and debris before mopping the entirety of the hangar
>It was hard work, you slipped in oil more than once
>As you were nearing finished, the bright green janitor pony looks and says
>"Hey, you wanna head off base and get a drink after work?"
"Yeah."
>Can't be that bad, at least you'll be out with friends instead of laying in bed playing old ps2 games
>By the time all of hangar 4 was cleaned up, it was time for your lunch break
>An hour to eat whatever you made this morning
>Which was... Nothing, fug
>You drove back to your barracks with squeaky in the rattly golfcart
>As you slowed down at an intersection to make sure real cars weren't coming through, you heard a voice
>"Excuse me? Can you tells me where hangar five is being?"
>You turn around and look up
>A plane pony was leaning down to talk to you
>Christ, she was tall, taller than Airliner even
"Yeah... It's down that road and to the left, it'll have a big 5 on it."
>"Thanks you." she smiled meekly before hovering off
>Squeaky whispers to you
>"Damn, her head must literally be in the clouds." as you drive off in the direction opposite to her
