Hijack:
-Tara mission ends with the good guys saving the day
-players vote for esmeralda.
intermission begins, we're Tara again and returning the card and squishy to threshhold.
-something goes wrong and some monster grabs the princess, Steel tries to save her but fails and is grievously wounded.
-nobody knows what to do and Steel spirals into a depression, Tara tries to help him but can't, all she knows how to do is distract someones heart, she can't heal one. Her worldview of keeping her distance now clashes with her having found a friend who would help anyone but she cannot help now that he needs it.
-Willow pops in and saves the day by being there for steel emotionally and supporting him.
-Tara, recognizing that willow can do what she cant, leaves canterlot and basically disappears.
-Keys realizes she has to do something to help but is too weak, so she steals the adimantium cuffs and uses them on esmeralda.
-Esmeralda now gets to go free without the players fearing she would turn evil because keys is there as a normalizing force and because with Tara missing, Steel injured and Willow with Steel, there needs to be someone out there dealing with trinkets.
-Esmeralda mission starts and establishes that the trinkets are being intentionally seeded across equestria by a group of cosmic horrors. Equestrias magic is powerful, but its harmonizing effect is dangerous to them. the harmony of equestria is why the ponies basically had toonforce against the SCP's and the cosmic horrors plan is to terraform equestrias magic by influencing it with the trinkets.
- final mission begins to save the princesses and stop the big bads, Esmeralda is released from the cuffs and still fights for good, Tara returns having accepted that she needs to let people in to her heart to help the ponies she cares about, Steel is healed and Willow is Willow.
-The mission itself is played as the whole cast, flipping from perspective to perspective.
-good guys hopefully win.

The majority of the CYOAs take place in a set of complex but intertwined timelines. Initially there is a single, linear timeline but eventually splits into three branches as a result of Discord's tampering. I'm still working out all the kinks but I have the roughest of outlines made. Of the peices that are set in place Entrapment is the earliest, before the timeline branches. Next in line is RGS, taking place immediately after the split. The portal in RGS was created when Discord was trying to recreate the portal from EQG, creating the separate timelines. This timeline features both modern and classical characteristics with a hint of humanity, although it lacks said race. Heat is most likely found in this timeline, althoughlong after the split.

Now, I haven't exactly pinpointed the genesis of the next two timelines but they have well defined characteristics. The first is characterized by modern and Sci-Fi settings. GS, Urban, Sub, NE, and Space can be found in this timeline. The second features the more classical quest with a high fantasy tone. These quest feature a vast variety of races and locations. For the most part melee weapons are featured but alternative/magically powered machines and weapons can be found throughout. SS is the only definite placement while Nine Lands and M&M may be placed here.

Now this is where the timelines are linked. These worlds were created when Discord either tried to patch the tears or purposely created worlds in order to escape. This is where the magical dumping grounds are found. Thres, Hijacked, and Octavia are the prominent worlds in this outer sphere. While Hijacked acts as a dumping grounds Octavia runs perpendicularly to the three timelines, acting as a weave.

Now, I have evidence to prove these claims but at the moment I haven't completely finished putting the puzzle together. When I have the entire theory written down then I'll make my case but for the time being I can only present the rough outline.

Basically that he would grow conflicted as he was confronted more and more by Gars changes for the better. His cutiemark is the scales of justice and he justifies what he's doing to Gar on the grounds that Gar isn't a nice pony, but as Gar changes the scales tip further and further towards Shade being in the wrong for what he's doing and eventually he's going to BSOD when his sense of justice targets himself.
My current guess is that Gar is going to have a very close call andmaybe get hospitalized, Shade will keep his promise to watch Ast for us and in doing so confront the greif tha Gars injuries has caused in Ast, Floral, Hype and the breezies. He'll recognize how he felt about losing Ember in all of them and it'll basically break him.

I have an odd headcanon for Blitz.

Since he's so perceptive, he often sees things that others don't notice, things that others think don't exist or aren't there.
My headcanon is that Blitz's biggest fear is that he actually is insane, hallucinating a lot of the things he sees.

Which is why the lighthouse was more or less Blitz's perfect hell, because the things he's seeing really aren't there, and again in Hyrule Field, where he thought he saw something moving, but nothing jumped out at them right away


So basically, if Blitz had enough false alarms, if he were to experience another siren ordeal, or if people were to doubt him enough times with nothing hapening, Blitz would break.
