Not really, it was more of an 'i'm back' episode and even though it did show Trixie and give her some character development the idea of 'redemption' was not really shown in the episode.

Yes Trixie apologises to Twilight in the end but just left without having anything said to her I want her to have a Gilda style redemption episode 'the map takes Twilight and someone else up to where Trixie is and find out she's in need of help, tho reluctant at first Twilight finds out how much Trixie has changed since their last encounter and becomes friends with her and the rest of the mane 6

So you're saying Trixie comes back to ponyville trying to redeem herself after her last two visits.

Town folks have the mentality of the South Park locals and start rabbling violently about her past and basically rejecting her acts of kindness.

CMC notice this and think 'we got to help girls' and start singing together about 'helping others feel special / accepted' and then Trixie joins in towards the end of the song and afterwards the 4 set up some sort of town meeting attended by the M6 and entirety of Ponyville.

Said meeting is instead of being normal actually Trixie on the podium talking through the loud jeers about how she know she made a mistake and wants to make it up to everyone, Twilight and M6 realise just how much Trixie is trying to change and that the town are being ignorant to this so decide to come to her aid by giving her their support.

Because the town have the mentality of the south park locals they start cheering because 'the good guys are being nice to the bad guy so that must mean the bad guy is good now' the Mane 6 all talk and throw a party for Trixie and Twilight learns a lesson of friendship from Trixie and the CMC closing the episode on the group in a group photo all smiling Trixie says she will make sure to visit ponyville regularly to tell the CMC and the M6 about her new found friendship skills rolling the credits finally being Properly redeemed.

True but it just makes the redemption that much better, of course the Mane 6 would hear about Trixie's reappearance and be skeptical about her ever having ANY good intentions and would probably think that she wishes to harm some-pony or takeover ponyville again but when they see her apologizing to the town and not having her ego dominate her personality they would be gobsmacked thus making the redemption that even bit better

I want to see the mane 6 apologize to Trixie for thinking she was in ponyville only to cause trouble again followed by praising Trixie for controlling her ego and feeling proud of herself genuinely for a good act such as forgiving the mane 6 then her former over-egotistical self.
