Pretty much.

It's peerless in the sense that there is no other show that does what this show does, at least from what I've seen. It fills a niche that it itself defined.

The only show that comes close to being as comfy is pic related, but that show has many shortcomings in areas where MLP excels.

It's just so goddamn lovable, and it's really hard not to get emotionally attached to all of it.
