The thing with scanning is that to do it properly means you have to melt the binding.
You'll have the book in some other format (cbz is great), but the physical copy needs to be more or less destroyed for a really good scan.

What? I've noticed some minor grammatical errors so far (misuse of definite article). But that's... a bit worse. I know it's supposed to be a horse pun but it doesn't work well.
While epsom salt is used for baths, it's rarely digested. Usually only as a laxative and can be dangerous if consumed over a period of time.
Salt-licks for animals are made of a different, safer salt, such as sea-salt because they're meant to be consumed for a longer period than a laxative needs. For horses specifically, it's fed as a supplement over the winter.
Otherwise, it's written decently for a kids' series, I've read far worse. Plus it's also interesting enough to keep me reading even if I don't usually care about the treasure hunting genre. I'm pretty surprised.
