Should I watch this with the remastered audio or original?
If the effects in the OP are anything to go by, I'd stick with the original. It was fine the way it was, so why change it?

Two deal-breakers for me:
1. The remastered audio has a great deal less background noise and static. Voices, music and SFX are much clearer and pronounced.
2. SFX in the remastered version are modernised without considering the classic sounds. The moving sounds of the mobile suits aren't reminescent of the original SFX at all -- they're just mechanical noises.

I have the same problem with the remastered audio of the Original MSG Movie Trilogy, the sound effects do not fit the show at all, prefer the classic SFX by far.

Not him, but I'd guess he means just adding modern things to it with no regard for how out of place they'll look
