Naoto Tsushima is a really good at designing robots and put them into action.

Yeah, it does, to various series, there are parts that relate to the end of G, there are citations of Dinossaur Empire and Demons, there is a fight against that getter from Ah. And of course, there is Emperor too. Hayato fights using the original Getter alone too.
