Let's talk about Knack 2.
The humanoid mecha were a bit too clunky for my taste. Fat limbs and small waists. I wish they were sleeker, you know. Apart from that, the designs were nice. The heads looked really cool! Some of them had bug-like horns.
Some of the other mecha were kinda great, though. The spider tank was cool, reminded me of the KNRB-0 from Vanquish. And speaking of Vanquish, the final chapter of the game was almost exactly like the part in Vanquish where you walk around the Kreon, very cool stuff.
Anyone else played it?
HERE COMES THE MONEY
Here's the mecha you traverse like the Kreon. Not as cool as its predecessor, unfortunately.

Getting ready for the big shot.
I think I'll start New Game+ tomorrow. Going to take a lot more screenshots this time around!
Uh oh, did someone say KNACK?

Why do western mechs always have retard proportions? They're like crosses between a hunchback and an ape

I don't think they're western. Most of the credited artists are Japanese. But I understand what you mean, they look western as hell.

MONEY TALKS

So is this actually good or is it still just a Dunkey meme?

I liked it. It has a nice combat system which requires you to time attacks and dodges well, at least on the harder difficulty levels. Though you won't unlock a lot of abilities until much later in the game so in the beginning it might feel a bit stale.
The platforming is kind of basic, so if that's what you're looking for, you better wait for Mario Odyssey or something. It's piss easy and there's no original ideas in any of the platforming sections.
I wouldn't buy it for the full price (I got it for free when PS Store bugged it) but for 10-20 bucks it's definitely worth a try.
