Kiraka suggests they just do a rematch, because she is fucking stupid.

The fact that Tsubasa and Maria agree to it shows just how not thinking clearly both of them are.

This is a series of zess shorts, with that art style and budget, so the resulting fight is pathetic to watch and basically amounts to slap fighting.

Sure you can dodge the glowing bits but one mistake and you're dead or you'll end up like Stefan. Hell, DMJii tried to do this in GX and they still lost their gears because there were just too many of them and you're bound to take a hit eventually. Also the plot demanded that they lose their gears.

The upgraded gears can take hits from the Alca-Noise's appendages without turning into dust so it's just more sensible to use something that can't be damaged by the Alca-Noise. Also the show is about the gears, not Genjuro. You can request for a spinoff show about Genjuro doing cool stuff on his own but I say Symphogear should be about Symphogear solving the problem and not standing on the sidelines watching others do the cool stuff.

Anyone else really appreciate the amount of personality they put into the henshin scenes this time around? There's so much fun stuff in there when you look at them individually and each character's personality really leaks into each one.

Maria's is really graceful until the end, when all of sudden she starts doing a lot of try-hard sword poses and swings.

Tsubasa doesn't do much anything but gets really fancy when it involves something like unsheathing the sword.

Kirika has a lot of goofy, useless movement in general and she probably thinks they're all super cool.

Shirabe's obsession with yoyos is clear with how in some points of the transformation they don't even transition into anything.

Chris's transformation is easily the most flashy and you can tell how much of a show-off she is with how exaggerated all her movements are.

Hibiki's transformation is the simplest and least flashy, but then she spends the longest time out of everyone after it's done to show off her martial arts.
