Given it's stats, the Flag would hold up to most other Gundam series mobile suits due to its extremely high operational time, maneuverability,and armaments. It had to be phased out because it was in an AU with one of the highest technology standards in the franchise.

Just to give an example of how speedy this thing is, it's max acceleration is at 6Gs. The V-Dash Gundam pulls off 4.5Gs at max acceleration.
