It depends how you will remove seams. If you have large gaps and need to fill them with putty, yes you'll need to prime and paint them. If you use plastic cement and then sanding, no.

I got an action base 2 yesterday and tried putting my RG Destiny Gundam on it using the connector, but it's way too loose. is it supposed to be like that or am I doing something wrong? The slightest touch on the gundam and it already disconnects from the base.
