Now there's a show that /m/ had a hateboner for for some unknown reason. It had very healthy and positive threads outside of /m/ and it was a fantastic show.

+Finally a show about power armours
+The show maskot didn't inspire blood-crazed murder (not talking about the trap). That's a first
+The idea of having the characters fight bureaucratic red tape and improvising solutions to it on the spot made the show more fun to watch
+Spoting the pickpocket from the first episode in every episode made for a fun game

-Shoehorned "muh refugees" in season 2
-Cast partially replaced and bloated by whogivesashits
-Bureaucratic cockblocking removed almost entirely
-Few hostile suit designs
-That got reused too
-Most of the good guy suits only appeared in a spotlight episode and the finale
-Boss and her sister being near-identical twins was never utilized

I wasn't too happy about the suit designs either but that's just my personal taste in power armor, not a problem of the show itself. Overall Tiger and Bunny was better.

/m/'s just a slower board whose lack of moderation let shitposting run rampant and ruin threads when those two aired. Knight's & Magic this season also has more and faster threads on /a/ than here, but there's a few more janitors hanging around now and it's not really a prime series for shitposting.

I still don't get why Kuromukuro got shitposted to death here though. Sure, it had some very obvious flaws, but it was a fun ride and I felt it was overall a good effort from PA Works.

Yeah, that one was very touching and I wouldn't had minded it one bit if it weren't for the irl immigration of the past twenty years. Anyway, it was the refugee episode, plus being told at the start of season 2 that suddenly refugees have moved into the sunken areas even though they've been abandoned for years, plus being told out of nowhere that Soichiro taking care of immigrants is "just like him". They should had eased into the whole thing by mentioning through background news reports or civilian discussions in season 1 that a civil war has broken out in a foreign country and having Soichiro comment that he feels for people who've been kicked out of their homes. Perhaps even make hating war his reason for joining the police instead of the military.

Even without bringing up the countless IBO threads while it was airing, we had pretty regular threads when ID-O and Frame Arms Girl were airing last season. Even this season has some consistent Knights & Magic threads too, not to mention the Symphogear general is a thing too even when they don't get subs for over two weeks. I think the only recent show that got ignored was Atom: The Beginning, and that's partially due to how late it started airing and how long it took for subs to show up for it.

Well that's another thing entirely. Just report/ignore any post that uses specific keywords/phrases (/y/ner, Iron Menstruation/Felcher Gundam, claiminig someone's from MAHQ/EvaGeeks/ANN/some other website no one here gives a shit about, etc), 95% of the time it's just mindless shitposting.

As for specific threads, IBO threads were sadly destined to be shitpost zones, no matter how good or bad Iron Blooded Orphans ended up being. That's just how it is for recent Gundam shows (Outside of Build Fighters, which was pretty well-received all around). ID-O threads were pretty slow, but that's mostly due to slow subs and people complaining about "muh CG anime". FAG threads got some flak because "tiny robot girls aren't /m/" as well as getting some flak for calling their threads generals. Knights & Magic threads so far have been alright asides from initial complainers from the first few episodes about "muh isekai, muh traps, muh CG mecha action", but since then they've been pretty alright. Symphogear threads are still Symphogear threads, so no real shift in quality here (Although they have the game to talk about now, so there's less "I want to fondle Chris's senbus" type posting).

Basically if you see some faggot shitposting about Iron Blooded Orphans or ANN or whatever in a thread that has nothing to do with either of them (Like this, for example >>15838799), then just go and report it for being off-topic.
