Say what one will about whether or not Gundam: The Origin was ill-advised or not, the Manga fucking NAILS the use of the songs, even in a text-based format, which may be a testament to how powerful those were in the first place more than anything else.

Stuff like that and the Manga's rendition and portrayal of the "No Zaku, Boy. NO. ZAKU." just really nail it for me.

Dunno how I feel about Sunrise doing a straight-up full animated adaptation of the Manga, though. On the one hand, it's what I sorta would have preferred over just the prequel material; on the other hand, I don't really think it's necessary.

I wouldn't really say it's the most feelsy but it was just a generally nice way to handle the deaths of their friends. No over drama where they get crushed and can't do anything for a bunch of episodes but it clearly had a huge effect on them and they took the time to talk about it and reinforce how much they all meant to each other

Most of the ones I can think of have already been mentioned, but nobody's mentioned Stellvia. It's not that popular, but damn if it didn't have numerous episodes and moments full of heart. When the second wave hits in episode 10 and then again the big finale at the end of the series being the major ones. Show was full of feels, too bad there was never a second season.
