X is a weird show.... it's basically Alt-UC where the Feddies and Not-Zeon had a series of recurring wars that ended in Operation Super British. Earth is totally fucked and post-apocalyptic, the government is next to nonexistent, and bands of marauding war vets prey on merchants and villagers.

It's decent. The concept of a post-apocalyptic desert wasteland due to a bunch of colony drops doesn't seem to be as well utilized in-story and the story does meander a bit in the middle. I thought that the strong point of the series were the characters and their relationship with each other. Outside of that, though, you could tell that Gundam fatigue was setting in as they cut the episode count down to 39 and the ending was hella rushed. Worth it if you wanted to see a simple love story played straight between the two leads.

Like... fuck, I wanna see a G Gundam sequel series set during or after the 14th Gundam fight. Maybe an animated version of Wing's G-Unit side story... Knowing our luck though, we'll get an animated version of Frozen Teardrop.

Either an anime adaptation of Under the Moonlight, or a straight up new story in the same setting as Gundam X and Under the Moonlight. CE and 00 have been milked dry, so none of that, and AGE was a commercial failure, so no dice on that.

The X uses the wings as thrusters too, like the Freedom? I thouth they were just energy collectors.

Did they remaster the audio cause those old gundam sound effects sound really dated.

Reminds me of the difference between the Wing DVDs and Blu-Rays. The DVDs were dark and muddy, while the Blu-Rays were a whole new show (in a good way) as far as video quality went.
