I enjoyed it. Like >>15816878 said it was real nice to see the old cast again, and the Sei/Reiji fight was really great. I would have liked it more had Reiji's other half showed up, but eh.

Back at the end of Try they announced two new OVAs, one for each season with the original director back for the BF one. Try's came out first because Watada was available but Nagasaki wasn't yet due to prior obligations.

Basically we knew this OVA was coming for a few years now.

I was disappointed the GMs ended up being bad-guy units, but at least the pun worked.

Over all good, but too short. Need more.

Apparently for the 8th gunpla world tournament Luang decided to abandon his high defensive abigorbine in favor of a faster and more agile gunpla and picked the hambrabi for its speed and simple/quick transformation. He even drilled extra holes in the armor to further reduce the weight.

I thought it was okay, but I came to the realization that I didn't even notice Reiji was gone till he showed up. I guess I never cared much about him.
Then he did the punch finisher and I remembered why I pushed him out of my mind. For all the hate Try gets for the finishers ending every battle instantly, at least they had some variety over 'generic punch solves everything'.

Anyways, Amazing Z'gok was awesome, and it was pretty hilarious how it took out the opponent MS before we got to see what it's very apparent gimmick actually did.

This. I'm sorry, I know you guys love these characters but it just felt very much like it was just going through the motions. Fellini even had to get his shit wrecked because that's what people remember from the show.
It was pretty dumb how the Mafia Boss just kind of stopped using Cosmos when he got the giant GM out, even though there was no real reason to pull punches since the Cosmos was AI controlled anyways.
Also the Sei vs. Reiji fight... sorry guys, I felt nothing. Those two had a much better showdown with much better context before. I feel like there is a lot more to their friendship than fighting each other so ending it like that seemed drawn out and pointless.

Thing is, Sekai is probably a decent tier Builder and an entry level World Tier Fighter, it's just since the Kamiki Burning is a Gunpla HE built, it's better tuned to what Sekai can do as a fighter.

As we see with Star Burning, Sei made the Build Burning capable of all sorts of Plavsky Haxz in order to outright generate whatever it needed on the fly, but Sekai is a generic Shonen Protagonist and thus manifest these Haxz as Generic Shonen Martial Arts Super Powers.
