I always get chills when I watch them cutting off Daryll's hand. I don't know why, I've seen worse gore but combination of music, sad looks on everyone's faces and parallel assembly of psycho zaku make it strongest moment in whole OVA.

I'm super hyped man. The story might not be super original (it's UC after all) but Thunderbolt's the most well-animated, well-produced entry to the franchise I've seen in years.

Season 1 was a pretty standard affair when it comes to UC side stories
While I still prefer the first one the second season felt like a breath of fresh air, with the new setting and antagonists
I'm also hyped for season 3 I'm honestly excited for some wacky Newtype bullshit

How's the manga?

just finished S2 and it was kind of a letdown after S1. It felt like barely half a season. While I loved the Acguy porn, It kinda lacked in every aspect and the final episode felt a little rushed.

In Comparison, S1 worked as a movie, while S2 would not.
