Purple feels incredibly underused as a protagonist character (or lead mech) in quantity.

I can only recall Janperson, Hibiki and Eva-01(main mech) being leads that have purple as their main color.

Not him, but the show does have a few Robocop-esque elements. Tatewaki in particular is a Japanese Clarence Boddicker.

The same thing as Mega Man.

The show is pretty solid, kind of a mixture of kikaider and robocop.

It's up there when it comes to metal heroes shows
