It's short, so normies couldn't get invested. Look at IBO. It has more issues overall, but it's two seasons and normies love following long series.
If it was at least 40 episodes, it would have been more warmly recieved, because the characters and their interactions were pretty good, but the story was rushed enough you didn't get to know them all that well.

I agree, although I loved the whole atmospheric entry battle before the finale. Klim's ship just gets unceremoniously destroyed because they didn't had coating, and the general that caused the whole conflict gets clipped by the glider's wing, it's kind of jarring, to be honest.

The pacing, the lack of more information about what happened, it's very short... It needs a remake, seriously. When you finish G-Reco, you had too many questions without answer.

I am sad to admit this, but I didn't like too much this Gundam anime. The story is very incomplete.
