My main problem with the ending is the timeskip, how things are so different, and that Enma just goes on a rampage to get more people into hell.

I mean, it was just wrong for it to end on that and heaven and hell going to war as if that had anything to do with the rest of the manga. Nagai probably just threw a bunch of shit together at a wall at the last minute like usual and hoped for the best that it would stick.
