He builds kit after kit with zero effort beyond snapping it together and takes intentionally shit quality photos of them to post in the thread. I tell myself I was using the kit to practice painting than give it a coherent color scheme, but really it was a case of the paint cans not matching the lineart coloration. Though it undeniably was good practice, especially for my first painted kit.

Hand painting with Tamiya paint is not what they are primarily designed for.

Not saying you can't, But you will often find your brush just pushes pigment around and it doesn't stick or looks super watery.

Small details will work fine but for larger areas, airbrush that shit.
