Anon it's fine to not like the shows Kyoani makes but I don't deny that they're good animators.

No they sat on this franchise for years because they were only commissioned to do 2 seasons. They don't own the rights to FMP, Kadokawa does. There's a lot of shows they've never continued making more of for the same reason, it's why they've been trying to do more shows that they actually own the rights to like Beyond the Boundary.

If you want to shit on someone, shit on the people that hold the rights to these franchises who decided to do nothing with it for a decade.
