On Kaiju, yeah on mecha no. For Kaiju it seems like it isn't to far from plasuable for them having those kinda ripped muscles. Robots it just looks weird unless you Obari then is okay.

This. The only time a mech should have muscles is if it's really some bioweapon covered in armor, and even then you wouldn't see the muscles because it's played in armor. Why does a robot need muscles?
