Yeah, unfortunately the official subs are pretty bad. They improved a few of the episodes for the Crunchyroll release, but it seems like the majority are still the same as on the DVDs.

Actually, the official subs being put on the CR streams is the reason why DigitalShokunin stopped doing that in the first place (partly because the initial first few official subs turned out good, and partly because he doesn't consider himself to have a good sense of humor). He's still waiting to see if CR/Discotek will do anything to fix the subs, last I checked.
