You misunderstand. When someone is unintelligent enough not to be able to find Gundam then streaming will no doubt be their first choice, not a last resort. Someone capable of seeing the value of retaining decent quality video files to watch with the software they desire and at their leisure wouldn't be having trouble with such a simple thing.

I thought the Zeon were all retards, with the exception of Char and the Gouf, until I watched 0080, 08th MS Team, and 0083. They were a lot more relatable in 0080(by design), likable in 08th MS Team(except the deranged brother of that one girl), and focused/loyal/fantatical in 0083.
