I always said it was good but it had too many useless episodes S2 that should have been used on fleshing out the ending.

The ending of S1 feels so much larger and grand than "rush the big battle, super humans are going to be used as fuel lmao"

ConRevo is one of the best shows of the past years.

I liked the standalone episodes in s2 too, the issue is that the ending arc really needed to be bigger, they attempt to tie some of the standalone stories into the ending arc, but due to not having much screentime, we end up with characters forced into generic roles with little explanation, like how Tetsu Kamen, the Not-Arashi+LionMaru girl was randomly treated like a yokai in the last arc with no explanation at all, even though it had been established that she was human before gaining her powers.
