Loved it, great fun show with such slick animation. Also one of the only dubs that does justice to its source material.

Gonna be boring and say Metabee. Just such a perfect little design paired with a fun personality. Special mention to Gokudo model.

Only the GBA ones when I was younger and they were brutal.

Loved the first series. So much energy and great humor. It sucks it never really caught on like Pokemon or Yugioh, but I still enjoy it. Don't remember liking the second series that much. Mister referee and Rokusho were my favorite characters.

Loved the characters and sense of humor in the first series. I pretend the second series doesn't exist. Henry/Hikaru/the Phantom Renegade/Space Medafighter X is my favorite character in the series hands-down.

Metabee, but Peppercat and Gun-Nose are both close seconds.

Yes. The GBA games and Medarot DS.

Gotta say Belzaga. The final tournament fight in the show really made me love the guy.

Personally I think J-decker is kind of similar.
It's a yuusha show, but it's got a really heavy focus on SOL.

Also, I'm sorry that you had to play Medarot DS. It's one of the worst games in the series. Play Medarot 7 if you ever get a chance, it has the same cast but fixes everything and is actually good.

Its some good shit, m8. The dub is pretty good all things considered, everyone managed to stay in character.

I had the shitty Gamecube one and didn't get past the second area. It was horrible. I still have the Metabee version of AX, and at first I thought it was too hard, but after I went back about a year later I enjoyed it.

I had every single one released in the US, I'm convinced. I had duplicates, even. I had that Jumbo Scale Metabee too. I loved that show to death when I was a kid, man. ;-;

Well, artsyle wise it's all downhill after 5, but if Medarot DS didn't bother you then 7 won't either.

Mechanically 7 and 8 are the series highlights if you ask me. While DS removed features, 7 brought everything back. Only down-side is that you need to unlock most of them like combos or medaforce but it's not too bad.

The 3DS games are severly lacking in the polish department. Graphics, audio and UI all feel pretty cheap. It's weird how the GBC games feel the most polished and good looking despite the limitiations.

Navi and 2 Core had great artstyles

My main problem with 7's artstyle is that the cast look like fucking preschoolers. DS' was weird but cool. 8 and 9's was generic but fine for the most part.

5 is actually my favorite, I would kill for a remake.

I'd argue Navi since the character portraits are kind of a miss for me but yeah. 8/9 portraits are pretty generic which contributes to the budget feeling the games have but at least the gameplay is solid. Also, we didn't even bring up "that".

And I loved 5. Characters were lovable as fuck, great designs, looks and feels great. Combat was good though the combo system was a bit off in my opinion. It was such a shame the game was cut so short due to devolopment issues. Had a lot of potential that was kind of wasted.

Also, it's been recently announced the Medarot 5 manga is getting reprinted, might be cool.

Medarot was one of the first Anime i watched in my childhood along with Shaman King, Pokemon, Inuyasha and some others. I absolutely love the Anime, the artstyle and animation were top notch and the show itself still holds up. I remember liking the first season more because just like with Beyblade, the second season animation got terrible, not to mention a lot of great characters disappeared and they even dropped a lot of stuff from the first season making it seem like it was a completely different show. But even if the second season ended up being kind of a dissapointment,i still wish they would have done more seasons. I just can't understand why they never did more when Pokemon, Beyblade, Yugioh, Digimon and even Megaman got tons of new series. Maybe it had to do with the poor sales of the games i imagine.

Sadly, just like with pokemon, i never knew Medarot had videogames until it was already too late. If only i knew, my childhood would have been even more fun than it already was.
I heard the GBA games were god tier tho but the DS and 3DS games were terrible. If Medarot games are dead then i guess it was for the best.

Absolutely loved the original series. The humor, the energy, the animation and style were all you could ask for in a video game/toy promotion show. It's also the one of the series I vastly prefer the dub over sub. Spirits was utter shit, though for lacking the originals humor and production value.
