Honestly, Gatchaman having so many exploitable faces is what kept me watching the first parts of it. Ken the Eagle is just an incredibly serious man whose only emotions appear to be "flabbergasted," "trying to pass a kidney stone" and "dead inside"

Only took an image of the big one that they reused practically every time the God Phoenix did its finishing move though

It is from the series GARO. It originated as Tokusatsu (like Kamen Rider or Super Sentai/Power Rangers) and was considered good. It then got anime adaptations (I think it's adaptations, I haven't seen it).
