I really liked every design that the anime tv series and OVAs have put forward so far and yet all had their creative spin on Nagai's designs, and yet I don't like Yuasa's designs at all.

But I can live with it, especially when the demons looks rad as fuck, just like I expected them to look like.

Now Yuasa better not disappoint with everything else.

While this looks great for adapting, you have to remember the director is Yuasa. He not only has a personal art style but his animation style is more suited to his designs than something as detailed as that. The frenetic action and grotesque visuals of the devils is perfect for Yuasa and the shots shown for the Black Sabbath look amazing. I can agree that I'm not a fan of the lack of sideburns but overall the designs are fine albeit not the best.
