If I'd never seen the Hamma Hamma before and someone asked what I thought it was from my first guess would be Gundam given the mono-eyeand general aesthetics of the head. I'd believe it if they said it was from something else, but Gundam would definitely be my first guess and I'd still see it as a Gundam reference even if it was I something else.

Even putting the head aside though the descernable verniers and incoms mark it as likely to be a Gundam suit. Neither are Gundam staples or hallmarks to the degree of mono-eyes, but they're more prominent in Gundam than other stuff.
