SEED's music was fucking amazing at pulling on heartstrings.
Every time I watch that final scene with Kira floating in space just barely surviving the final battle with Rau as Find the Way plays in the background I feel my heart tense up.
It's such a powerful scene.
Say what you will about the hack, but Fukuda can fucking direct a good high impact scene, what he sucks at is everything in-between.

This is probably the mother of them all. I don't think it has the same punch out of context, but I'll be damned if seeing this scene for the first time wasn't the closest an anime has ever brought me to tears. And it's weird because nothing overly sad even happens, it's just the general hopeless atmosphere of it all. That's a good descriptor for the show as a whole, really
