I'm trying to watch Faiz on my Droid Maxx, but I can't find a player that doesn't stutter like it's going into a panic attack.

Any suggestions on what I should do? I use MX Player, I used to have VLC until it went to shit on my phone and never played anything correctly.

Do you have the hardware support codec set up for MX Player? With hardware accelerated playback, it'll be a lot smoother.
