Hey, /m/ I'm relatively new to Gundam and have been going through UC. My current watch order has been: MSG (show), MSG:Origin, MSG 08th, MSG Pocket, MSG Thunderbolt.

I've been told to watch Zeta, ZZ and CCA before watching MSG 83. Is this the better watch order or can I continue chronologically?

The old advice was always production order, but I mean sure, Origin covers a lot of interesting bits about Char and Sayla, so that's fair enough.

Production order. Always production order. Extra points for taking small gaps in between each series to simulate the experience of watching it when it came out.

Also, props for watching the MSG show. The movies are what's considered 'canon' but the show is preferred for all the extra detail and world building.

Yeah of course i new that there were movies that would have given me quite a few hours of my life back to do something productive.
