Transformers: The Last Knight

Don't split the plot up among so many different lines. Maybe cut the "last knight" aspect altogether since it was so unimportant. Make optimus evil for different reasons, or have unicorn create nemesis prime like in transformers armada as a clone.

Cut any scenes from the scrap yard, cut the girl from the trailers, only use unicorn as a teaser at then end to justify nemesis existing.

The movie could play off of the earth continued paranoia of transformers by painting optimus as going rogue.

Honestly I'm shocked that this movie left its story open to continue in the next one, all the previous ones have been one story that gets rushed heavily in order for it to be over by the end of the movie. It's justvtoo bad that for the most part the story was hot garbage as usual.

I honestly feel like Age of Extinction's story as okay. It had pacing issues, but it was really good in follow up to DoTM.

I actually quite liked dotm if I'm being honest, it helped that it was loosely based on a g1 episode, but the story flowed in a way that made sense, it had a couple fun ideas (humans willinglyt working with 'cons, moon landing conspiracy, Chernobyl tie-in), it felt like the world the movie was set in had some development for once.

The acting wasn't bad either, jokes were kept to a minimum, i wish it had stayed more like that.

and that reminds me, TLK feels very kids-friendly. girl character with mute mini robot sidekick, C3PO rip-off, sucide squad decepticons, baby dinobot, french Hotrod, robot retirement home, knight and dragon motive.
too bad they didnt went full silly and colorful, it might have been better movie.

If the world after 3 had gone full on war of the worlds I wouldn't have minded that one bit

Even if we somehow fix the story, the film is still poorly shot, choreographed and cut together. >characters just popping out of nowhere

Stop with this shit. He doesn't do anything wrong in the second movie. Shooting that Decepticon wasn't a bad thing; the Autobots give Decepticons a chance to stand down peacefully in the third movie and those Decepticons shit on the offer. Aside from that explain how he could possibly be evil.

Yeah I'd give him that. 1 and 2 had nice chases and 3 had nice disaster porn, but have you watched 5? You can tell he DGAF at all in 5. It's lazy even by Bay standards.

It at least feels like they were having a ton of fun on 5. I do think they stopped giving a fuck, but I don't blame them for doing so considering the franchise's poor critical reception; he tried again and again and people kept lambasting his work.

1 is a shitty movie compared to 3 and 4. 2 is a shitty movie compared to just about anything, and only glides in under the same excuses you can give T5; it feels fun, except we KNOW that wasn't the case with T2. It was a disaster from start to finish. The guy deserves a break. DotM and AoE were an enormous step up in quality and people still shit on them.
