The problem is /m/'s moderation is very thin at the moment, and the only times I ever see them active are either in the Gunpla general deleting Snapfit's discord links/deleting the imagespam there or in the Symphogear threads banning ACK (Though he's more of a global /a/+/m/+/u/+whatever problem than just an /m/ one). It's probably just one mod seeing those posts and going "Oh hey these posts got a lot of reports and are actually people breaking the rules, time to delete". The thing about the Felcherfag/ANNfag/Orochi/Whatever is while he's obviously trying to bait people he's technically not breaking /m/'s rules.

IDs would help out a bit since it tells people who you should and shouldn't reply to, but people shouldn't be responding to bait anyways.

I don't think there is a way to save /m/, it's become completely lost where it no longer has any passion or originality. Any sense of majesty or discovery is long dead flooded by plebs who just stare at the latest shit, female anime characters and whatever Gundam stuff is coming out.

Any attempt to actually discuss any of these things ends in shit posting because XD SHIT POSTING AM I RITE?. The mature audience that /m/ had, that had a real passion for older mecha series is gone. What's left now is the Gunpla general generation. They have no real depth, no insight but they panel lined a kit so they're posting 10 images to show everyone.

As an /m/ old fag who was here since the board's creation I find pretty much no reason to come here any more outside of a once a month news check. There's no original content, there's no deep discussion, there is just anime girls with a robot in the background some where
