Yeah, I played briefly. I have a HOTAS and last time I tried mapping it, it didn't work if I remember right. Also in moonrunes so hard to play without a guide.

The gameplay is pretty straightforward and a lot of the vital stuff is in english

Just remember you can mouse wheel over allies and right click to issue commands to them

There is no GunGriffon game for the PS1, I and II were on Saturn. GunGriffon Blaze was on PS2

HIGH-MACS tries to emulate the look and feel of the original Saturn game, but its not a straight port

Yep. Played the shit out of it when it came out back in the day.

HIGH-MACS is fucking rad but I wish it were updated. It suffers from poor pixel density and draw distance making it hard to tell what's going on at a reasonable distance, feels sorta like playing an unfiltered 3DS game on a big screen. The concepts are definitely there and the gameplay is fun though.

Yeah, I've played it. I'm shit at it, though, I could never get past the first night mission. Still pretty fun to boost-jump around the map firing off rockets and canon shells, though.

It's a pretty fun game. Takes a bit of trial and error to figure out the mission objectives though.

There's also a HIGH-MACS mod for Arma 3. It's pretty damn fun plopping down a group of nazis or tanks and stomping on them.
