Apparently it doesn't even matter. The series is just the OVAs divided up into tv-episode length chunks. I've only watched the OVA's because everything I've read about RE:0096 was that there isn't so much as a single scene re-done or left out.

The TV version is literally just the OVA but with episode cuts done by someone with double digit IQ. It is objectionably worse.
