To be completely fair, Emu defeating Parad in a way he couldn't possibly say it wasn't a real defeat was probably the condition to get his Gashatrophy. Just like you can clear a game by playing it properly as opposed to just killing them, like we learned with JuJu Burger and stuff.

To someone who thinks they're the MC, you need to defeat them as a final boss to proceed.

Dude was in prison for six years, and the times we have seen him interacting with the CR crew cant be enough for him to have such level of insight on well, EVERYTHING.

The only thing i can believe him knowing, and thats a bit of the stretch, is about KRC, as he knew Kurotos plan was to use the bugster virus to create the ultimate game, and he let him believe he won by letting himself be arrested, so he can peacefully build the virus immunity necessary to wield/exploit whatever hell Kuroto had planned (in this case, Chronos)

She was apologizing for treating him like shit through no fault of his own, and finally acknowledging him as the professional he is, and not just the target of her petty childhood rivalry. Previously, she wouldn't even talk to him much, but now she even called him by his proper name, and allowed herself to be vulnerable in front of him, dropping her pride and bravado. That's a lot for a single scene and few lines of dialogue.

It's a nice contrast to Parado, who's also scared out of his wits of dying, but refuses to acknowledge his weakness and helplessness.

I have to wonder where they are taking Emu's character here. His beatdown of Parrad, while satisfying, feels too cruel for him. Like, if Emu becoming more bitter and cynical to prevent patients from going through the same feeling he had when he was a kid then I hope they commit. I feel like they won't, but we'll see.

Emu doesn't just kick the shit out of him and kill him, he lets loose with the verbal spite too. Two things are at play here.

Emu shows more remorse for Dan because Emu had shown Dan mercy, but he was still killed by Pallad and Emu had hoped that Dan would face proper judgement and trial once depowered, which Pallad denied.

In contrast, Pallad did a lot more harmful shit then Dan and, even in the face of death, was still an unforgivable jackass. That, and Emu is a lot more disillusioned now.

If Emu has favourites, it would be the CR team, followed by his patients and, well humanity. Also "good" Bugsters - like Burgermon and Poppy.

Micchy was driven entirely by jealousy and lust, both for Mai and for power and control. He was a small-time con who wanted to be a big shot like Ryoma. His entire fall to darkness was based on bigger, better crooks taking advantage of his ambitions to string him along so that he would sacrifice everything he had for the hopes of something better that was never going to come.

Emu's driven by putting the preservation of human life above all else, like a doctor should. He's never made any attempt to kill a human, and in fact went out of his way to avoid killing Dan. He's not sold on Bugster revival being the same as life - and it's hard to blame him when someone can take your Proto Gashat and mindfuck or delete you at a whim unless you always have the Gashat in question on your person like Dan and Kiriya do. Emu's bitterness comes from the stress and difficulty of being a doctor, where Micchy's came from being a selfish asshole.

Takaiwa: "The most difficult one has got to be Blade. He has NO character to work with. Ryuki is a goof, so I act clumsy in the suit. Faiz is somewhat of a delinquent, so I fight rough and tough. But Blade...he's just a salaryman. He works for BOARD and fights monsters, but that's it. In the script, he just acts like a 'normal hero' type who wants to protect people, but beyond that there's nothing there to help me convey that when I'm in the suit. That's why Blade was the most difficult.
As for my favorite, it's Kabuto. He's the strongest character I've ever played. He has almost no weak points and is so cool. His fighting style is very confident and he doesn't need to strike first because his character believes that he's the center of everything and that he's better than everyone else. Also, his Rider Kick is cool. I kind of wanted him to be much like those cool samurai that you see in the chambara movies that slice the bad guy and then he falls over afterwards."

Because none of the Bugsters were originally "from" Chronicle, but their data was used to create it regardless. Salty was originally from MAX and Masamune deleted his data with no problem.

Parad is a boss in Chronicle, there's no apparent reason why Masamune can't manipulate his data as part of the game like he can do with everything else.

We see Salty himself willingly enter Chronicle. I'm sure if he wanted to, Masamune could just pull a brand new Salty from MAX, but that current one is gone for good. Parad himself never went into Chronicle, Kuroto already had Puzzle and Fighter loaded when he showed off KRC to CR during Dangerous Zombie's run.

KRC's Master Gashat contains the data of 10 original Bugsters and Parado's base forms (Puzzle and Fighter). The important thing is that the last two are not a representation of Parado himself on the title screen. They're just considered to be a sort of pseudo-Bugsters (as artificial substitutes for Parado's actual Bugster form). That's why Parado himself wasn't absorbed by the Master Gashat at its initial activation. Neither did Ren, and Masamune had to delete him manually.
Of course, Masamune could delete the data of Perfect Puzzle and Knockout Fighter, possibly preventing Parado from transforming into either, but he has already managed to combine them into Perfect Knockout, the data of which is, yet again, not uploaded to the Master Gashat.

Even if he deleted Puzzle and Fighter, Parad still has an angry, invincible twin brother-father he could call up to help him beat Masamune's ass in. Killing Parad outright was simply the best path Masamune could take.
