This is the best UC Gundam, and the best Gundam series overall.
Say hello!
>>15689876
It's not UC but I agree with the second part.
Hello!
>>15689876
Sequel when? I want to see Guin and Merrybell european adventures, what happened in Jupiter, the "non-aggressive" neocolonization of earth from the moonrace and Sochie being happy.
Also more turns! N, H, S, E, W, I and O must exist.

Guin's a creepy rapist. I want to see him arrested before he goes all Gilles de Raiz
>>15690119
>Sequel when?
I listen to the OST occasionally, it's a fucking masterpiece.

So good. Until will always be one of my most favourite Gundam songs, and I swear it was some sort of inspiration for the unofficial OST of Neotokyo.

>This is the best UC Gundam, and the best Gundam series overall.
Best mecha ? Check.
Best show overall ? Nope.
>>15690305
Not a sequel. I'm still mad.
>>15689876
Fuck no, Turn A was a franchise low point until Age.
Hello, best Gundam.

Niggers like you don't get to have opinions.
Only people are allowed to have opinions.
>>15692321
Prove it Anime Suki.
>>15690305
No. Not even a spiritual one.

You just want to see how much more suffering Sochie can handle.
>>15692292
Agreed

>best UC Gundam
Not UC.
>best Gundam series overall
It isn't.
>>15692713
>Not UC.
You're right.
>It isn't.
You're wrong.
>>15692292
>>15692612
I wonder what it's like to be literally this wrong.
In only 6 episodes 0080 accomplishes more than any other Gundam.
>>15693693
based IBO falseflaggerbro
>>15693693
Third best imo. 0080 is what every other gundam's miniseries should aim.
Turn A and Z are sightly better, though.

>In only 6 episodes 0080 accomplishes more than any other Gundam
Sure thing mate, and I've got a real deal here : want to buy the Manhattan bridge ? Honest it's the real McCoy.
>>15693693
Cool trolling dude

It's literally the only Gundam where both the story and characters are competently written.
>>15693959
No it is not
>>15693968
pls name cause I would enjoy watching it if so but I highly doubt it. Most other Gundam series have their moments and all of them are arguably conceptually good but have glaring flaws. 0080 is actually polished in all areas.
>>15693693
Not really. I mean, it definitely did in 6 episodes one particular thing that many take more to do, but it succeeded partially, if not entirely because it didn't attempt to do any of the other things many of them try to do.
0080 deftly told a story about the impact of war on individuals by using a small scale story, but it could do that because it was borrowing a setting and didn't need to establish its own war or environment. It also didn't try to talk about how war effects organisations or the environment like many Gundam TV animations do, or or even attempt to explain how people deal with the adverse effects that conflict has on an individual. Once Al is traumatised because he realises war is kind of shit and not a game the story ends, where most Gundam TV animations try to explore how characters handle that realisation, what they do with it and who they become.
Your post also seems to imply that more episodes is a boon and should result in a better story and message, where really more findings stuff to fill such a large episode order is often a bigger challenge than telling a story in a shorter, more succinct format. Not that it's definitely the case or anything, but less episodes can be a blessing.

I agree. That said I've yet to see something that's ambitious but messy ultimately outweigh something that's concise and polished.
And you are right, more episodes usually just equal more fluff which hampers the story. I am all for smaller scale series.
