Eiji and Hina have some presence in the original Super Hero Taisen. Date and Gotou make cameos too.

Eiji makes a brief cameo in Movie Wars Ultimatum. Then OOO has a fairly long fighting scene afterwards in the Director's Cut, although there's barely any VA work.

Dr.Maki briefly returned and faced Specter in the Kamen Rider Ghost Legend Rider Souls mini-series.

I'm no Rider snob. I've barely watched a handful of different series. My favourite thus far has been OOO because of the character growth and semi-anti-hero protagonist. It really got me being introspective and showed that wanting to do good isn't the same as ACTUALLY doing good. Then I saw drive and fourze. I liked the (pardon the pun) driving force behind the theme of Drive but they both seemed to have tons of flash and not a ton of substance. I've noticed this happening in the Sentai series as well.

Are all the tokusatsu shows just making characters and plots to sell toys now? I mean I get that it sells BIG TIME but...It makes me deeply sad when I look at the original rider and how important his struggle was. I mean the guy was literally about to be brainwashed and genetically and mechanically modified to serve a parody of the Nazis. That's pretty deep stuff. Are we ever going to see the show take itself a little more seriously or is it all just going to be over the top, giant colorful outfits, and product placement?

Maybe I'm taking it all too seriously myself but....come on, pac-man's in the newest show. Doesn't that seem a little crazy to anyone else? Please share your thoughts. I don't want to be right, I just want to know what everyone else feels about this idea.

However, you have to understand that toyeticism is what sells when you're in a time slot that's meant to sell to children. By pushing it up at a later time we might see less of it, who knows. Even then, toyetic does not equal bad. Several Yuusha shows are ridiculously toy-centric but Might Gaine right off of the top of my head had a batshit insane metaplot not even Rider would dare do then or now.

Pac-man is ... a thing that happened. I think namco has been trying to get back in the public consciousness because there's been a lot of stuff like that in the last couple years. Still, I feel the actually good seasons outweigh the bad ones, though I will admit my list of good seasons is more in the early heisei and showa period than current.

Amazon is fucking shit at packing their boxes. That said, their customer service barely gives a shit, so if you're not 100% satisfied with anything you receive, you can almost always return it and get a full refund. So I think it's worth it, in the end.

Amazon and eBay should only be used for things that are $20 or under (So DX collectables like the Fourze Switches, Wizard Rings, etc) and Gash/Candy Toy items. It should not be used for belts or anything else because they're almost never reasonably priced, the only thing I've ever seen cheap on Amazon that was a belt was White Wizard's for $20. Everything outside of that is cheaper if you just go through Mandarake even when factoring in shipping.

Keep in mind that you can rarely ever return shit to Mandarake though. You can return literally anything you want to Amazon. The sticker is a little off on your Gashat? That's funny, I've had the exact opposite experience with Amazon. Everything but drivers seems rare and overpriced.

Yeah, but the price for Amazon stuff tends to be ridiculous at times, I've seen Lockseeds go as high as $100 when they were maybe $20-30 on Mandarake, I've seen DX Ranger Keys hit ridiculous prices like $50 for $8 sets on Mandarake, and even Wizard Rings are sometimes priced double what they are on Mandarake.

But yeah, you are right in saying that Amazon has a good return policy, and if you're just buying one or two things and Amazon is reasonably priced then Amazon is a good idea due to free shipping and how quick it gets to you. Thankfully getting a dud from Mandarake is relatively really low since the Japanese are incredibly good about taking care of their toys and if any little thing is wrong at all it'll be shown in like fifteen different pictures on the listing.

Drive stuff has been pretty cheap as well, you're right. Drive Driver went as low as $20-25 when I was checking (Sadly it's up now though), and most of the Shift Cars are pretty fairly priced, same deal when it comes to most stuff from Ghost. It's gotten better over the years with the newer stuff so you can give it a check if you want, but usually the price disparity is pretty big. Gaim for example was nearly double or triple the price of Mandarake when it was airing (Now it's kind of even and kind of overpriced), Ranger Keys were unbelievably high, I saw normal $8 sets going for $50 countless times and the Mobirates were in the $80+ range, OOO stuff was like $40 for any DX pack when they were $15ish on Mandarake, etc.

You can get good deals, but it shouldn't be your first sop is my suggestion. eBay is good if you need movie sets and gash/candy toys though, no one sells them cheaper.

In a language that is first and foremost written horizontally and read left to right, you don't want to cram up your horizontal real estate on a screen so quickly. Neither do you want new text suddenly popping up the left of subtitles. It's unnaturally. It's especially bad when multiple characters are in a conversation and they have lengthy lines of dialogue.

There are certainly better ways to accommodate those situations. Nobody reads subtitles as an excuse to make their eyes dance. Unless you're talking about meme subtitles which are done for theatrics rather than for providing translation.

It's ok. Ever since Fourze Toei starts to have the real ending of the series saved for the novel. All those extra movies are there to give you extra info to join the dots while reading the books.
Exaid however seemed to have the true end split into the movie and the book. Fans will need to watch the movie for the end of the TV series, and to read the book for the end of the Exaid series.

I think it's actually been kinda refreshing to have a more standard alliance format but with a lot of riders. This style combined with the effort put into giving some character to reoccurring monsters makes Ex-Aid's conflict a war between two sides rather than a lone hero standing up against a great force.
