Which megaman series had the best designs?

As much as I love X, most of the designs aren't really that amazing to me. Like outside of the lead characters, none have really left an impression on me.

X series without a doubt. Mavericks, stages, armors, vehicles, and "story" were better than the rest IMO.

Legends. X is pretty good too.

I like Star Force as the best Mega Man design, but as for all the side characters, I'd actually go with Mega Man Classic

Battle Network and Starforce for me. Mainly because of the different forms they had.
I especially love Starforce's Black Ace Design and BN HeatGuts since I ended up with it the most.

Zero/ZX

I'll second/third/whatever BN and SF.

BN>SF>Classic>Zero>X>ZX>Legends
X is my favorite series but design wise isn't that great outside the main characters and Legends Reaverbots are the most underwhelming designs for enemies compared to the other ones.

Original hands down, though the later ones got a bit out there.
