It's not an anime opening, so it doesn't count.
Memes aside, Anime Ja Nai is vastly superior to Silent Voice.
Silent Voice comes of as a failed attempt to replicate the effect of Mizu no Hoshi e Ai wo Komete because it lacks the emotional impact for me, while Anime Ja Nai succeeds in setting the tone for the first half of the series (it's also a better song).

Into the Sky was just boring, it was a standard pop song attached on later to a series with incredible Sawano music that deserved better. hell they used Boom Boom Satellites for one of the ending songs but their OP fell flat.

they should have just reused an OST track like they did with the Zeta Gundam Dub (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVp_jCwhFB0) or mix some old and new content like the Robotech Remastered OP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEe0kzyFOyU).
