Huh, I thought they only did one comic adaptation for Harlock, but they did for other anime too.
This at least got scans, nice to know and for reading. Will this trigger the lazymatsumotofag?
And while looking for this, I found this old comic, but no scans of it, called Combat Armor Tiger-X by Ben Dunn. There is a kindle release, but I dont know if it is complete.
It would be nice for anyone to rip it to let us know, they kinda look like Gundam too.

The first issue was nice.

The first STARBLAZERS mini-series from Comico (the first of three) was written by Phil Foglio & Doug Rice, who were also doing the first original color mecha-series in the US for 1st Comics, DYNAMO JOE.
This is an unused cover design for the 1st issue.

>The United States is split in half by a Soviet invasion force of giant combat mecha. Only a small band of rebels resist the invasion. However, they stand on the brink of defeat until the discover a brand new weapon to counter the Soviet battle suit. A weapon known as TIGER-X!
So is basically Red Dawn meets Dougram. The art of the first free pages also seem quite decent for what I generally remember from Dunn.
