Well I am annoyed now. I thought requiring Parad was going to be permanent, and their excuse for not constantly using muteki.

Parado is still reprogrammed. And Parado has entered Emu's body ,multiple times since the reprogramming. Literally nothing should ahve changed.

A better explanation would have been that Parad was refusing to help Emu anymore since their last fight, but seeing Muteki made him change his mind.

There were two simultaneous things that happened when Emu Critical Finished Parad: what Emu was trying to do and what Parad was trying to do.

Emu was trying to get Parad out of his body. He only succeeded in that he erased the part of him that was Genius Gamer M. He didn't fully eliminate Parad's virus from his body, since otherwise he would have lost the ability to transform outright, but he lost the ability to draw on Parad's superior gaming skills.

Parad was trying to steal Emu's DNA so he could use a Gamer Driver. He succeeded.

I don't see how Parado forcibly possessing Emu, and Emu forcible injecting Parado, is any different. At the end of the fight with Cronus, Parado was able to freely leave Emu's body without an issue. Haruto was just a failed concept, and after him there's a clear trend of wanting to make the protagonist an every man.

They're just "normal person" that becomes the center of the plot somehow, rather than having traits that would make them stand out from other leads.

Taddle Fantasy isn't a good looking form though, the colors are a mess and it's a CG abomination for nearly everything so he's just flapping the hands around. I haven't liked it at all since it appeared whereas Taddle Legacy always looked cool since they showed it off for the movie. Taddle Quest is fine though.

The description of Legacy was that the MC used the powers of the hero (Quest) and the demon king (Fantasy), right? This episode he just used the former, basically just scaled up versions of his old elemental sword abilities. I expect we'll see the latter - powered up Fantasy magic - at some point.
